I suppose if it follows the same pattern as the previous two movies, they'll open up with some sort of short Optimus monologue revealing something about the past (maybe in this case the events from the first announcement trailer), followed by the Transformers: Dark of the Moon logo, then a 5-10 minute action sequence that cuts to something lighter involving Sam.
But Bay may decide to change it up this time around. I guess we'll find out in 103 days.

I really hope it opens AND ends with a Optimus Prime speech. Thats a pattern in these movies that should always stay, kinda like it is with the beginnings in Star Wars movies.

Honestly I don't really care how it begins.
What I really want is an epic 3-D moment with the title. So why not have the title transform into shape on screen, but then have it break into hundreds of pieces like it did in the announcement teaser and have all of these pieces fly towards us a la Armageddon!

i dont think they will do that since its what they did in revenge, but also because revenge was more chaotic because it was about the Fallen. Did you notice that the anouncement teaser's title was more controled and aesthetic? I'm guessing it will be assembled by bits and parts that are coming from out point of view and merging in front of us.

Well didn't really mean it to "blow up" in our faces. I'm thinking that it can break up in a more organized manner, like, well...this:

Okay, so that isn't exactly organized, but you can see how a lot of the pieces in the center line up and such.
But yeah, I want them to make good use of the 3-D with the logo.

Probably along the same format as the first movie. A monologue about the past, present, or future, cutting into a short action scene, and then more of a build up over the next hour.

I say Prime sort of narrates the moon landing, and we see what we saw in the announcement trailer, and the title appears just like in the trailer, going into Sentinel's eye.
Ohh and cool sound effects in Dreamworks and Paramount logos, they NEED to be there, they're so cool in the last 2 films!

I would imagine that Optimus again tells a little bit, while a scene from the past, sees in this case, the first moon landing. Then you see a small dialog from John F. Kennedy, even at that time was president and then I could imagine maybe have the Autobots present in occurs yours, but no fighting, but maybe they need to present themselves to humanity, Fallen indeed reveal their presence had been. ^ ^

Well the lights will go dim as everyone takes their seats and the adverts will play. After awhile the trailers will start and late comers will jostle for their seats.
Once the movie starts the lights will completly go out and the paramount logo will appear. Any really late comers will be glared at as they take their seats fumbling in the dark. >.>
i beleive this is how the movie tf3 will start.
20 minutes later a child will need to pee so a disgruntled parent will be obliged to escort thier child to the toilet, missing a crucial action seqeunce. The parent will be heard to scowl under their breath as they realise what they have missed. Two girls who have been brought along by their bfs will chat at high pitched volume throughout the movie. Popcorn will be thrown at them to be qiute. There maybe one or two persons who chat/txt loudly on their phones, with one of them being shushed. More popcorn will be thrown at them.
Note: Must buy a big box of popcorn for the showing!

thats funny as hell but true. i went to see indain jones and kingdom of the crystel Skull with my nephews and theses 2 teenage girls are screaming while the movie is going.
oh shia is so handsome and there running back and forth. calling people on there phone. and yelling shia almost got hit in the you know where.
and saying of he is so cute they kept on saying that. i'm like these girls are nuts there running back and forth in the movie theator and drive 10/ 15 people nuts.
after the movie was over i walked out side and saw the same girls. i got in the car with My nephews went up to them in the with the car. rolled down the window and said get ready to see shia in a new movie transformers 2 revenge of the fallen were you can scream in terror. then i speed off in the parking lot. My nephews were laughing.

This installment has likely been written with an international audience in mind, so the opening will possibly have an intense montage accompanied by the score, little to no dialog, and a noticeably short monologue from Optimus Prime (or another character with Peter Cullen's voice).
That's just my guess, though.

with my girlfriend, and my friend's girlfriend was talking about shia
the whole time saying "he's so cute" and annoying stuff like that. and at
one point (The scene where sam was about to stab the matrix into optimus) she yelled real loud "yay i see his underwear. so hot!" that was the weirdest thing i had ever heard a girl say, and girls behind us laughed and said "i know isnt it great?" then they started talking, and me and my friend looked at each other, we were dying through the chick talk. my friend was pissed. it was so annoying i told her, "just go leave and go stare at a picture of him on google!!!!"
ohh and the whole time i was thinkin' "at least my girl doesnt talk weird about other guys in front of me" and then josh came on and she squealed....:wtf

i met josh in july my nephews got his autograph while Filming TF3 in chicago. My nephews got his autograph.
he was a nice guy.
I went to see true grit a few weeks ago with my parents, these guys were talking through the whole movie and i finally yelled like archmed the Terroist Silence i'll keel you in his voice they right away stoped.
Also too. i'm a big guy and i wish they would make the movie theator seats bigger for big people. because i went to get are fill on my popcorn and my stomah end up hitting the back of this ladys head.
i also had to deal with women saying to josh in the filming of transformers 3 oh my god oh my god. and josh had to tell them to be quiet because they were filming.

With a bitter sweet monolgue from Prime, saying how since the defeat of the "Fallen" their cover on earth has been exposed, groups of humans calling for them to leave, and the death of Makelia by a human agressor .

I read some where there was a guy look out the window. and some guy Come walking in and says we found something on the moon. then the other guy says thanks for telling me then the other guy ask what do you think we should do. then the guy turns around and it turns out to be JFK. then We hear Optmus voice over and he says they don't want us here and we see a Autobot symbol with in x going through it. then i think it should flash the events of revenge of the fallen and with optimus voice.
Or.
we see a Autobot ship leaving cybertron. and the desciptecons attack it. and it goes down and crash lines on the moon. then 60 later we see the humans walking on the moon like in the first trailer and they find sentel prime who is belived to be dead. thats when they have the transformers dark of the Moon logo or title.
