Default Brian Goldner CEO of Hasbro talks future of TFs movies.

From the sounds of his interview, at least he and Hasbo wants a 4th movie... will Bay change his mind and come back to direct? Goldner says... "Michael has got this incredible visual sense for showing you things you've never seen before. Perhaps he'll change his mind, perhaps he won't, but I'd rather put out this movie first then cross that bridge at some point."

If its about movie-direction ...it has to be direct by Mr. Bay!!...or else thr shouldn't be any other transformers movie 4-sure!!.... I still remember spielberg's words : "Michael bay was born to direct Transformers!".... and that's quite true, to be honest!

I am not going to take anything away from Michael Bay. He did an awesome job with these movies. But I find it hard to believe there isn't another director that can't do a great job with the next movie. Sometimes it good to get fresh blood in there, of course you get the wrong person it could be the end of a good thing. But I am sure Hasbro would choose wisely and carefully.

This is what I really hope for.

If Bay wants to do a 4th movie then I would be suuuuper happy! But if he's being "forced" to make a 4th one....then....maybe that's not such a good idea. (not saying that anyone is forcing him to make any movie) I'm really looking forward to the future of TF movies though.

Of course this is for the money too, new TF movie brings new toys to sell.

Well personally I want Michael to start preping TF4 shortly after TF3 but of course this won't happen. After all Michael is a human being (though I sometimes question that ) and he needs a rest from these hard 5 years.
I think it will be great for Michael to take 1 year off after TF3 and then in 2012 to make his small movie Pain&Gain for a 2013 release. After that in 2014 fresh and clear minded to start preping for TF4 and maybe we'll get a late 2015 release.
I know this is highly unlikely but still sounds awesome.

You know what... Hasbro can make TWICE the money if they fukin want.. listen to this...

    Bring Transformers 4...

And start making Transformers I with all the seriousness in the world and let people seriously get hurt like Saving Private Ryan style, you see people getting shot to pieces really violent and stuff pure for mature audiences but also with a serious mature script.

So one TF movie for mature audience and one for young audience and Michael can choose out of both options.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I want Michael to be totally freed from Transformers for a while, and i want the people behind the Transformers movies to make another SERIOUS action movie with a lot of depth in the movie a Transformers movie that will blow your freakin mind away, a deadserious more mature Michael Bay film, i suggest Michael pays a visit to Clint Eastwood or Ridley Scott and the people who made Saving Private Ryan they make great movies IMO letting Michael come back really strong with a super strong script, cast, ideas, and all the other things that make a movie available for even an oscar nomination imagine that... dont say it cant be done.

If we follow the typical Hollywood movie making formula, TF4 should/might be a prequel?

TF4 movie about the civil war on Cybertron anyone??
The only way to predict the future is to invent it.

Everyone has their price. If they really wanted Bay to come and do a 4th, I'm sure an increase in fee would have him back. Just like anyone.

You quoted my whole post just to say that Michael has to rest 2-3 years. :lmao
By the way I consider Pain&Gain like a rest for Michael (this makes 3 years). Small budget, small cast, small media attention and plenty of open spaces for Michael's big talent.
