Nope. This isn't normal at all even to us Japanese who got used to minor quakes. Usually, we have about 1,500 noticeable tremors a year. We had 485 M5.0 or larger tremors in the past 30 days since 11th March. The earth seems to be quite active lately.
The seismic warning through TV, radio, and internet has been ringing all the day. While we're getting used to it, the announcement like "15 seconds to impact.. brace yourself and stay safe" still sounds surreal.
Warning on TV:

Thanks, relieved to hear that. Hope Greeny is okay, too.

And how is Japan recovery by now? Does anyone know how are things right now.
As usual, after a while, the media stops talking about it... Although I was checking here very often for news.
Although no one can go back and make a new beggining, anyone can start again and make a new end.

Thank you for caring about. As of now it is like,
- Death toll: 14,728
- Missing: 10,808
- Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power plant situation has yet to be fully under control.
- Still many evacuees are in shelters. It takes a long time to remove all debris in devastated towns, particularly in the vicinity of Nuclear power plant.
- Another nuclear power plant in central Japan is to be shut down due to the near-future risk of major quakes and tsunamis (according to experts, there's a 86% probability of 8+ magnitude quakes hitting Japan in the next 30 years).
About electricity, do they intend to shutdown all nuclear power plants across the country?
Is there an alternative source already in place (eg. solar panels or turbines)?
