Weather is pretty crazy here it's storming with winds up to 150KM/H for two days now and there are accidents everywhere and huge area's being flooded by water..

On Christmas day my current home town was hit by a crazy storm, it started with heavy rain and within 10 minutes turned into marble to golf ball sized hail. It rained down on us like that for 15 mins followed by more heavy rain and then 2 hours of epic thunder and lightning. 7 days later we had a 3 day heatwave with 35-40 degree Celsius weather.

I know that I am posting really late but I just want to say a big Thank You to the support you guys had (and may still have) for Christchurch. It was massive stuff in New Zealand and I have a ton of family in Christchurch.

One of our princes is in the hospital in Austria after being buried for 20 minutes under the snow by an avalanche..

Personally.. the guy works with Tech companies but he didn't wear any Tech against the snow avalanches when the avalanche alert was 4 on a scale of 5, he only had a miserable tracer around his neck or whatever.. pretty foolish and not smart of his team to go into a danger area.. but still, i hope he survives and brain damage is at a minimum.

At least two large twisters are causing havoc across Dallas and Fort Worth this afternoon, crushing homes and sending thousands of North Texans scrambling to take cover.

Numerous reports of injuries were being reported. The National Weather Service declared the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area to be under a "tornado emergency." Tornado warnings for much of North Texas are active until 3:30 p.m.

Sirens went off in downtown Dallas and Fort Worth. Schools across the area were huddling children in hallways. Passengers at DFW International Airport were rushed to safe areas as the storm passed. All planes were grounded.

I have relatives that live there. Hope they are doing OK so far.

Hope they're OK. Yesterday a 93 mph storm hit Japan nationwide, too (4 died and 202 were injured).

Unlike usual typhoons/hurricanes, this contraseasonal bomb-cyclone accompanied sudden downbursts here and there. It left the main island this morning, now is in the northern area.

It's really a sick world out there. Two days ago there was a suicide bombing on a bus at the airport of the city that I'm spending my summer vacation in. 6 people were killed. 5 minutes before the tragedy I drove past the airport together with my family. It's really horrible.
And now the Denver tragedy!!! What kind of person shoots at babies?!?

Just saw the news listening to Obama's speech making it harder for troubled people to get guns, this is great news to hear. Obama did good with this.

Saw Christian Bale showing his respects to the victims, families.
I bet that wasn't easy to do for him, hats off and respect for that.

And i saw that psycho's face.. Orange/red hair looked more like the Riddler if you ask me.. that guy needs some serious help and jailtime afterwards.. so he can sit it out and think clearly what he has done.
I hope they fix him up and not just ignore how he became like this.

I'm interested why/how he turned into this twisted human being.. was it stress? meltdown? Bullies? Love? cause he obviously was troubled before he saw the movies, choosing a villain of a movie isn't really that weird if movies are that big in your country, this guy just chose Batman as an excuse to do what he did.. movies or no movies these guys would still do these things with or without the inspiration of movie themes you just can not blame the movie studios for this.
