Well my day went from nice to shitty after reading the news.

One of the students at my college was killed after her car plunged into a river where the bridge was washed out by the flooding.

What sucks even more is that I met this girl last semester and we had a very good conversation.

A plane of the Chilean Air Force crashed in the Juan Fernandez islands less than 1 hour ago... 21 people missing. I know 3 of them. We're waiting for more information.

Unless he lives in a dinosaur, most homes in Florida for the past 15 years have gone under strict building guidelines to withstand most hurricanes of C-4 and under. Regardless, my main house is old, but I had done $60,000 worth of renovations, and all should be alright. Now if Michael lives off the coast, his worst fear would either be flooding from the raging ocean (insurance is a bitch when it comes to covering floods) or the foundation could be swept out from underneath from powerful waves and erosion. It's why I decided to never buy a home on the ocean. Too much BS! Friends of mine thought they were in the clear up in the Carolinas. They have seen probably three times the hurricanes this past decade than Florida has, and since then, sold their beach front home for a house in the country.

Wow, that cameraman was a real jackass, I don't see him going down there helping. I'm pretty sure these National Guard guys knew exactly what they were doing and that they trained to deal with these kind of extreme situations.

I've been working in the garden all day and its freakin hot all day here its ridiculous between 30°C and 32°C all day here the days before that were 16-18°C, so this is extreme weather for us here... it cooled down to 28°C now.
This weather we have to thank to the hurricane that pushed high-preasure area's to us so were having lots of heat here.

Haha didnt even look at that video yet till now lol, those guys are crazy good thing they could escape out of the vehicles but the people in the back could just have sit dry ontop of the truck the whole trip lol and they are lucky to escape through the windows cause opening doors in water is just impossible when your underwater with a car you got about 10 seconds to escape from it or you'll drown so they have balls and they are dumb lol nice find though

Thank you. We, people in eastern Japan are okay. Typhoon Talas caused flooding in western Japan. 35 died and 54 are missing.

Two days ago we had tropical weather, was really hot and poist and we had storm with lots of lighting 800 unloads per 5 minutes, this was very rare here.
