Since Barricade wasn't in ROTF he still got a toy anyways-so this can be the same case for "skids and Mudflap" OR They can be killed off or most likely now not in it at all.
BUT this doesn't have a reason for the toys to be based off the GREEN and ORANGE sparks. I don't get this, if they are not in it why make them the sparks? Why not a Bumblebee repaint :lmao (that didn't come out right)
So the twins by the looks are in it for a bit than killed off THEN maybe other characters take their alt modes???
Or they can have new names with the same ugly faces

I can't believe we are fighting over the Twins in this thread. If they are in the movie they are, if they are not in the movie they are not, will just have to wait and see when it comes out July 1st. And we have see them on the set what Nelson said in this thread doesn't mean anything.

Well after reading this I don't believe Nelson is misleading us. One thing is sure the Twins will never be like the Twins we know. They're gone. Period.

When Nelson said that Wheelie has a buddy and that's the Einstein Bot I immediately remembered my comment when I first saw the Einstein Bot. It was something like:
"the Einstein Bot really looks like one of the Twins disguised with goggles, nose mask and a moustache". Especially the eyes look identical.

dunno if anyone said the same here but the way i see it is this, the twins were to be in it, hence the two sparks, but bay decided to cut them and instead use wheelie and this "buddy" character in their place....and considering wheelie was mostly cgi, i can understand the buddy character as the same.

thats how i speculate it anyways.

skids now equals wheelie
mudflap now equals buddy character.

a simple change. much like changing mikaela's character with carly..........or sumthin like that

yes it is... To Nelson and anyone else I may have offended with all my questioning... I apologize. I for one dont really care if the Twins were cut... it would have been fun to see how Bay could have changed their personalities some to make them less corny and more true comedic and worth a good laugh. It was just how when Sam Nickelson asked why the Sparks were seen on set then and Nelson said different characters it had everyone questioning if the Sparks were now new different characters. Then Nelson said Wheelie was back and his new partner was Einstein which he said in the past was the Blue Benz but now says he will not reveal their alt modes? So what i was getting at is

1. If the twins characters are out will the (Sparks) cars still be used for other characters?

2. Why tell us Wheelie and the Einstein(blue benz are buddies) but than say he will not reveal their alt modes... he already told us the blue benz was Einstein.

Wheelie's new buddy is small like him right?

Because the cars were on set... and i see no reason to have the cars there if they aren't part of the movie... Plus it would confuse the viewers if you have two vehicles that have toys called Skids & Mudflap... then have them turn into other robots...

Also, if Bay was only carting them about to confuse the fans... why start now? why waste the expenses of doing so...

if they aren't in the movie... then why were the vehicles seen on multiple locations? THAT is what is confusing me..
