5. Autobot that cant be named Hot Rod as its a suggestive name and only acceptible in the 80`s but not today as its not PC and kids are forced to hide from real life.

Why because Barbie and or Cindy makers Mattel copyrighted the name for an existing product of theirs, even though its nothing to do with Transformers.

I can't see Perceptor being the Ferrari. I think we had confirmation he isnt in the movie anyway. and who cares if he was red? ironhides black in the bayverse many other characters have different colors than g1...

True. Ironhide is black, which is not his G1 color. So in DOTM, the red ferrari could be anyone that transforms into a sports car.

By the way, my guess is that it will be Rodimus.

Since my two first suggestions, Dreadbox (Bay was misquoted in an article) and Pizzabox
won't be the Ferrari's name, I found this on Wikipedia.I saw that there was a bot named Chase! - Ferrari Testarossa!
Maybe Bay upgraded him to a new Ferrari 458 Italia!!
Or he's Red Alert since he was a Lamborghini Countach, also an Italian car.
So instead of making him as a Lambo, they made him as a Ferrari cause Ferrari payed Paramount more money to get the car into the movie. Product placement you know!

just because the car is red does not make him Hot Rod, percepter or Cliffjumper as others think it is. Color does not matter in the movies.

Shadow told me to tell you that the picture you posted up is not Mirage. The red yellow bot you have up here is the same bot from page 1 in the 3rd frame. You don't see Mirage until the last page of the comic as he was invisible when he comes out with Wheeljack.

Yep, another forum member also pointed that out to me. And he send me the page with Mirage (I haven't read the comic). To me the red bot from the comic really looks like Cliffjumper (especially the head) but they called him Mirage, strange.
