I only like the instrumental version of this song. It would be awesome
if there were cool songs with cool guitar stuff in it on the soundtrack.
I like the guitar part that starts at 0:06 seconds...its awesome!![]()

I would love to have The Fray, Greenday, Googoo Dolls also back on the soundtrack of this movie they make great music. (Googoo dolls i dont know right now, but that song in TF1 was awesome great emotional value also from The Fray in TF2)

perfect theme song right here!!!
"I live for myself and I answer to nobody."
The Late King Of Cool.
Steve McQueen
Judging by the suggestions on this thread, I think it's a matter of time before someone here suggest Justin Bieber or Creed.

i have i am subscribed to the thread and there are some weird ones out there however, Nelson i am ashamed that you would even type out that Canadians name..... frankly Creed is just horrible..... and "He who must not be named" well, lets just say that his pop should have not let the condom bust......

i am still disappointed that the Transformers trilogy does not have a theme type song. what makes Star Wars and LoTR timeless is the music is symphonic. thirty years from now well....
My ideal Transformers soundtrack would be completely void of Linkin Park and would have metal through and through. It's a dark movie (I'm assuming) and needs heavy music to go with it. Metallica's S&M album showed that metal and symphony are a great combination, so there'd be no trouble mixing metal songs with Steve Jablonsky's score.
I'd die of happiness if these songs/artists were included:
-In Flames ("Jotun" from the masterpiece Whoracle album is a dark song talking about collapsing buildings, societies being bombed out of existence etc.)
-Megadeth
-"We Gave It Hell" by 36 Crazyfists (even though I'm not a huge fan, the lyrics fit the theme of the movie; it could be played after we win a battle)
-"My Obsession" by Killswitch Engage (recorded for the "God of War" soundtrack)
-"Land of Confusion" by In Flames (the title and lyrics explain so much and are fitting)
-"Ashes of the Innocent" by Bullet for My Valentine (talks about screams of agony, people mourning for their loved ones; heaviest Bullet song yet)
-"Another Angel Down" by Avantasia (for if an important character dies)
-"Doomsday" by Atreyu
-Children of Bodom
-"What's Up People?" by Maximum the Hormone
"Here Comes the Rain" by Hypnogaja
-"This Fire" by Killswitch Engage (a song about not giving up, letting your fire burn through the darkest of days)
-Arch Enemy
-"This is Absolution" by Killswitch Engage (Sample lyrics: "We will not die this way! Death claims us no more!")
There are many more bands, but I don't want to bore you any more than I already have.
What bands do you dislike? ...Haha and Bieber would be perject! Are you kidding me?! he's completely transformers song material!
(HAHAHA:lmao...im totally kidding, completely joking, out of the question...just wanted to go out on a limb, and shock people before they finish reading my sentence... anyway, nelson, I dont think any of the suggestions were THAT Bad...)
but ehh I don't like some of the suggestions too, i dont really like some of mine for tf3, now that i think of it... But most of them were cool. :borat most of them are the same bands from the other two films...
I Fight Giant Robots
I know exactly what Nelson means, but to be completely honest on here.
I'm pretty picky with music choices if i can picture the movieimages from the trailer with the music im listening to it's gotta be perfect for my taste and then i'll post it and i also havent heard any good material lately so.
I did wrote down some fun old songs on a list from the 70's-80's some 90's that would be fun to hear in TF like they did in TF1 and 2 with Bumblebee's radio.
And some people are indeed sticking to only one music genre, wich is not refreshing at all for this movie, you gotta accept new stuff, listen to stuff you would never listen to but still be critical while listening to it you know and imagine the music being in the movie if it fits post it is what i do!hhmm yeah hhmm..
PS: if i hear one Bieber tune in TF3 im gonna have a stroke right in my theatre seat...

In terms of the movie's score, I would love to see Steve Jablonsky resurrect and/or have a variation of this unused track he made for the first movie:
The sheer epicness of it seems to fit well with the scale of the Chicago battle.

too many children of the 90s uughh. can you imagine the strange techno sounds from animated movie with a mix of symphonic sounds and just a touch of heavy riffing.:head any child of the 70s or 80s know what i am talking about?
Awesome heroic moment after 2:50.

I've always tried to have my own taste in music, never followed anyone, if i like something that is based on quality ill say i like it.
I liek a lot of variation, they did a great job with The Dark Knight soundtrack, i bought it but i dont play it as much as Transformers because it's not that fun to hear it everytime TDK was a pretty depressing movie really dark.
Sure i wouldnt mind DOTM having such a soundtrack it brings something new to the table but for me must have that Transformers flavour in it from the previous TF's movie soundtracks (scores)
And for the Album, i like guitar music, rock music and some metal but not non-stop every track must be like that, i liked how they put two tracks in that are not all that heavy and hardcore, cause the moment you show/hear that music your hearing the emotion of the movie speaking.
And tahst what i love about it, in the 90's i kept listening to the soundtrack of The Gladiator, i was such a fan of the movie because it showed so much diversity in emotions and that classic music and choir are a killer in that sector.
So for me, not that much heavy stuff please. (sounds girlish but isnt)
Im sorry if i was being vage or anything, im soooo tired..... im gonna go now ok, sleep well all and have fun!sleep well!
zzzzzz....

I prefer instrumental incantations for movies of this size and scope over anything with lyrics. With that in mind, I could see why Linkin Park would be the primary "commercial" band chosen. They're more known for instrumental experimental works over lyrical.
ive always like this one this one or the touch by stan bush if he was to remake song
