Trailer Follow-Up on the 18th?!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Nelson hadn't seen the trailer from the superbowl until the day of the superbowl itself? I don't know how much he's seen, but we still haven't seen an official poster either, and they're usually out way before now.

Nelson as well as a few others have seen the Super bowl spot before it was shown. If Nelson had not seen it before hand He would not have said before hand that it was one of the Best Bay trailers he has seen.

No I meant Nelson didn't say anything until a few hours before, maybe he only saw it that day, more likely scenario: He just couldn't talk about it though. :/

I don't think we will see a DOTM trailer in front of I AM NUMBER FOUR. I have been monitoring the Government of Alberta Film classification site and no new transformer trailer has been added to the website and we are running out of time as the 18th is only four days away. Two possibilities exists: One, it could be that the trailer may not be shown in Canada (highly unlikely) or two, it will not be with I am number four on the 18th.

Hopefully I am wrong and we get another awesome trailer.

They didn't have last week's X-Men: First Class trailer listed until a day after it debuted online. From time to time, they do "miss" a few of the big trailer releases.

I have been monitoring the Government of Alberta Film classification site and no new transformer trailer has been added to the website and we are running out of time as the 18th is only four days away. Two possibilities exists: One, it could be that the trailer may not be shown in Canada (highly unlikely) or two, it will not be with I am number four on the 18th.

now im starting to think that there will not be a trailer on the 18th?!?

If you are highly anticipating for this summer blockbuster, I would advise you to not watch the 20 min showing of the film if you got the chance. But that's just my opinion, you know...just so you would be mind blown the first time you see the movie.

But then again, I have no idea what the 20min preview showed so...

Even though there is still speculation about whether there will be a trailer on the 18th, we CAN expect one this quickly because it happened with ROTF.

There was a Super Bowl commercial, then a teaser on the 13th with Bay's Friday the 13th movie showing an extension of the commercial and not really any plot points (hence a teaser). Then the full trailer came out around May 1st. I know this has been said many times, but I don't see a reason why Michael wouldn't attached the teaser to I Am Number Four this Friday since he produced it.

A lot of people call December's trailer a teaser, but to me it's more of an announcement trailer to get the word out about the movie. Similar to TF1's Mars rover trailer which wasn't really footage in the actual movie except a short clip on Banacheck's computer. I'm curious how much (if any) of that trailer will be in the movie.

Look below THOR and TF3, you can see written in red "I'm Number Four" IMAX DIGITAL PRINTS.
But we don't know for sure for which country is this list.

Can you make out the text right under the TF3 logo. Does it give the trailer# and the time ?

Yeah, but THOR is released on 6th of May. Then we'll see the full DOTM trailer. Now we expect a teaser, like with ROTF. By the way the trailer with THOR is also unconfirmed. Just thinking logically and following the ROTF pattern.

My interpretation on the list above is if you go and see I'm Number Four in IMAX then you'll see DOTM teaser.

According to the guy who posted this, this is the teaser that we've seen before Tron because he thinks that it was trailer 1. But we know that it was named announcement teaser. So i believe the new teaser will be labeled Trailer#1.

Ok! I'll start a new thread to make it simple. Actually let's wait a little for more confirmations.

Well no need for new thread I guess. It's really confusing.
According to the list there will be DOTM trailer with I'm Number Four. It's labeled "Trailer #1" and it's 2:30 min. This is the same length as the announcement teaser. And according to some the announcement teaser was also labeled "Trailer #1".
One thing is sure, there will be a trailer but most likely it'll be the announcement teaser. It doesn't make much sense to release again the old trailer after you've showed a new TV Spot but everything is possible. So let's have hope and we'll find out really soon.

The bottom says teaser standee available Feb 11. This is probably the date that theaters were meant to put out their first TF3 picture standees.

Nothing is certain mate. I'm Number Four on this list is labeled as IMAX DIGITAL but you know that every cinema decides for itself what to do. Remember the chaos for the announcement teaser? Although it was confirmed by Michael Bay himself, many cinemas didn't show it before TRON and Narnia. If your local cinema is close to you, you can ask the projectionists if they will show the trailer.
By the way I really wonder why Nelson or anybody else don't just say what are the facts. It's not like you reveal a spoiler. It would make our lives easier. Just one word - "yes there will be new trailer" or "no there won't be", or even "we still don't know". After all we all are here to help each other out.
