My Theroy on Starscream in DOTM

With Megatron (maybe) not in the leadership role now, I think we could maybe see Starscream get his on screen shoot at leading. At least until Shockwave shows up. I may be wrong but with all the info in the comics that leads us to believe that Megs is for the moment not the big threat and Starscream seems to be Optimus's main priority... We could see Starscream leading. It would be cool to see him get his sidekicks Skywarp and Thundercracker too but we will see. Now I know there was the rumor that Screamer gets killed by a human character but im not buying it just yet. I really can see once Megs takes his leadership role back, it being Megs to be the one to kill Starscream. Also with Megatron on the run and (maybe) Starscream leading, I can see Soundwave maybe being the one to contact Shockwave and fill him in.

i like this theory about starscream,and yes it would be very cool to see him shine as a leader.but im very amped up for soundwave and shockwaves roles in the film i hope they give them enough time to shine.....

Well at the end of ROTF Megatron and Starscream were together so I don't see why Starscream will return leading alone in DOTM. Actually Starscream in the movieverse is a pretty linear character. He never showed any real intension to lead the D-cons as in the cartoons. And with the big guns in front (Megatron, Shockwave, Soundwave and even there was a rumor for another major D-con character still unrevealed) I don't see a chance for Starscream to play a major role. I even can see him being killed. Even by the hand of the human "you know who".
I don't know about the new comics but Starscream already had his 15 minutes of fame in "The Reign of Starscream".
But still it will be interesting to see if Starscream will finally get a personality in the movieverse.

I agree... I could see right after the Egypt battle that Megs was so messed up that once they (Megs and Screamer) left, they landed somewhere else on Earth as maybe Megs was to weak to make it back to the Nemesis and Starscream seeing Meg's weakness, left Megs for dead, returned to the Nemesis once again by himself as The Fallen and every other D-con at the battle died. If there were other Cons on Nemesis, Starscream came back, gave his im the only one still alive speech and once again took command. Only he forgot about Soundwave who was still in orbit. Maybe Soundwave took it on himself to alert Shockwave and thats were Shackwave comes into the picture? Im just guessing here people lol But If Starscream is somehow leading again (even for a bit) this is how I could see it going down.

besides there is this from the 3rd issue of Rising Storm.

And this would make sense as Sam did go back to Collage in Philadelphia after the events in ROTF.
