"A few months ago, I got on the phone with Michael Bay, who wanted to discuss the possibility of our band continuing our run with songs paired with the Transformers films. We (he, his team, and our band) all have enjoyed working together on the past two, and he wanted to discuss the ideas we might have for Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon. In particular, one song came up immediately. Ever since we started playing Iridescent live, the song has been a fan favorite at the show.

For the film, there’s a new, slightly shorter version of the song, which is floating around the internet now. We’ll be shooting a video for the song tomorrow, directed by Joe Hahn."

I mean, they want to make a Theme Song, so they should also mention the transformers, otherwise it's not a theme song, it's rather a "normal song".

He he, Mike Shinoda who 7 months ago said that LP will not do a song for TF3 now confirms the opposite. Quite a gradation we have on this thread (from no song to Burning in the Skies and finally to Iridescent). Well everything is good when it ends good.
Now I wonder what will be the theme song of the movie. Some hard music for the action sequences.

They are doing a video today. They usually upload their "Making-Of" videos to YouTube. Hopefully, we'll see new footage from the movie like we saw for New Divide.

Speaking of which, this means we'll get a new TV Spot called with the Iridescent music like what we got for ROTF ("Destiny"). Am I correct Nelson?

hey MB fans, i gotta say, Linkin Park have done amazing for each soundtrack for each of the 3 films. Love linking park and i definately agree they link up very well when it comes to Transformers music

To me, Iridescent will fit the film better than any other Linkin Park song. Burning in the Skies would have been awesome, but in terms of lyrics, Iridescent has more 'meaning' to them, if you know what I'm saying. Can't wait to see the video and hear it in the theatre!
