He was massive and tough. He could have easily been buried in Chicago....

He was supposedly one of Cybertron's guardians...

I agree omega could be a better possible robot than unicron and easier to put into the film. I want to know how the majority are sure a robot is buried under the city.

I can see Omega Supreme happening too before Unicron but why does everyone seem to stick with the fact that just because any of these characters were big or massive, that they will or have to be in the movie verse? I can see the shuttle and all the components being OS but come on guys... Unicron does not have to be planet or even moon sized to be properly worked into the movie (if) he is in.

I'm not sure how much of a threat to Earth Unicron would be if he was the size of a large space station. (which would solve the scale issues)

with TFs... size isnt an issue though. I mean whats stopping Bay from making a character that is normal bot size or somewhat larger that has unimaginable power? Nothing. A character in the TFs universe does not have to be massive or go with the (Im bigger than you idea) to be stronger or to show its powerful right?

The presence of Unicron in this movie maybe as simple as a piece of him is on earth. I keep thinking of the Exodus novel and the impact Dark Energon had in the fight on Cybertron. What if Shockwave is after Dark Energon which is buried on Earth.

Because thats exactly what they tried to do In Silver Surfer and they failed. You cant just completly change a defining characteristic of a character and then expect him to be accepted. But thats just me.

Sorry bro... but Bay has changed ALL the characters and what defines them in his movies... If Unicron is in this in some way and Bay changes what he looks like, his size, makes him talk nothing like what we would expect Unicron to sound like... people will bitch at first but in the end, they will get over it and except it. It may grow on most as things like Megs not turning into a small gun, or Prime being a different truck and having flames, or Soundwave not having his G-1 voice and I can go on were all things that defined them from their G-1 counterparts and all these things people bitched about but what has happened? Everyone got over it and these new defining characteristics have grown on us.

I keep thinking of what one of the Hasbro people said about the movie early on. That they are focusing on the "core" mythology.

and you cant compare this to what they did in silver surfer. Yes their version of Galactus sucked but how were you expecting them to make a massive believable super character like that in a live action movie mavel movie?

I can't see how Unicron would fit into a movie universe of this franchise. You cant' have it hidden within the earth, nor the moon without being undetected for so long.

YES! I loved how that was done. There were still some major scale issues though. (For example, the Decepticon Thrust standing on Unicron's shoulder.)

to be honest... i woudnt think Omega Supreme could handle Trypticon pound for pound in the movie verse. I could see Trypticon being quite a bit more massive than Omega Supreme. Nw if Trypticon and Metroplex went at it, that would be a massive fight.
