Alan Rickman -- I know, not exactly age appropriate, but hey go back and watch "Truly, Madly, Deeply", "Sense & Sensability", Sheriff of Noddingham, Misunderstood Guy aka "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves", "Die Hard" the uber bad boy, and now Snape in "Harry Potter" (again, baaaaddd boy). Talented actor who could make reading the phone book interesting.

And in the very same vat of wine comes my next fav which is John DeLancy... fabulous actor -- played Q in ST:NG Voyager, etc. (mocks Picard "Give me back my ship. Give me back my ship."). The guy is a heck of an actor and as a human he is hysterical (faster wit than mine for sure).

Yrs ago saw a tv show (lasted all of about 13 episodes I think) called "Working Stiffs" (it was the 80s okay) starring two young guys -- Michael Keaton and Jim Belushi. They've been favorites ever since.

Alan Rickman.....interesting choice. I do love his voice.

I'm pulling a blank on Q in Voyager.....was he the shapeshifter? Oh no, wait, that was Odo. ACK! To the database!

The Rock: funny you mention him. I found out this weekend that my cousin, who grew up in north Nashville, went to high school with the Rock. I gots connections, hell yeah!

Intersting pic (from American Psyco...Patrick Bateman character).

Well, I was aiming for eye candy in this instance, but American Psycho is one of my favorite films. It's a nightmarish satire of eighties culture (like RoboCop! Yay Robocop!) and I'm of those people who thinks that Bateman never actually killed anyone (which makes the culminating sensation of the film even worse). Also, I think it's funny that our mayor, Gavin Newsom, resembles Bateman but I'm weird like that.

Ah, Daniel Craig. I was resigned to the fact that The Rock was going to be last good "James Bond" film until Casino Royale came around. Pierce Brosnan never did it for me. You started something with Brosnan in a bar and he'd probably laugh politely and change the subject. You start something with Sean Connery he would knock your b-tch ass down. That power, I admit, is sexy. Troubling, but sexy. Daniel Craig brought some real depth to the role and god, I could watch him climbing over walls all day. I'm much happier with a truly threatening, balanced James Bond. ("Although in retrospect, I would rather have been a poet, or a farmer." Balance!)
