No no, not the song....even though I bet that's in your head right now!

In light of the 300 discussion that was held earlier...and somewhat fizzled out even though Raven had a gem of a comment in it ()....here's where us women (and yes, we are on here) can discuss hot men.

    My top three are:

    Johnny Depp
    Christian Bale
    Gerard Butler

Ladies....discuss, the floor is now open!

*men, you can discuss too. *

And in the very same vat of wine comes my next fav which is John DeLancy... fabulous actor -- played Q in ST:NG Voyager, etc. (mocks Picard "Give me back my ship. Give me back my ship."). The guy is a heck of an actor and as a human he is hysterical (faster wit than mine for sure).

Yrs ago saw a tv show (lasted all of about 13 episodes I think) called "Working Stiffs" (it was the 80s okay) starring two young guys -- Michael Keaton and Jim Belushi. They've been favorites ever since.
Alan Rickman.....interesting choice. I do love his voice.

I'm pulling a blank on Q in Voyager.....was he the shapeshifter? Oh no, wait, that was Odo. ACK! To the database!

Michael Keaton and Jim Belushi.....hmm.....once again, interesting choices.

*I'm not knocking your choices there beej, just observing.*

Aww now.....Alan Rickman was pretty good looking in his younger days, along with Michael Keaton.

Still not recalling who Q is....and it's driving me batty.

    Keanu....meh....Matthew McConaughey (barf), and Keifer....nah.

Seems like you have a soft spot for brunets.

Good morning, ladies. I drank too much last night.
As far as I know, it's likely there're only five or so females.
I guess we need to get started with coming out hiding. Here puss puss, nobody bites!

Hot guys... hmm. My recent top three doesn't even include Homo sapiens except my husband.
Well, I should turn my eyes to men of flesh and blood.

    Favorite three living actors:
Max von Sydow, Lance Henriksen, Jürgen Prochnow

Alan is a good choice, Beej. Age doesn't matter.

Yes, I do have a soft spot for brunettes. Interesting observation, I didn't even catch that one!

Lance Henrikson, I am very familiar with his works. Especially the Alien movies.

That song makes me giggle, so it's okay if it gets stuck there. I need E to plug some things onto the satellite server for me before I can do this properly (pictures! life is no fun without pictures!) but, in the meantime, here is a boring list for you!

Hugh Laurie. House is increasingly lame, but I still love this man.

Ewan McGregor. Because we all know that the the only thing that could possibly make Ewan on a motorcycle hotter is Ewan on a flying motorcycle.... I didn't get my Wasp for Christmas AGAIN this year. Life is sooo disappointing.

    James Callis. Battlestar Galactica, anyone?

Sean Bean! Even as psychotic murderer John Ryder... Sean Bean is still hot. Unbeatable.

Also, remember when baseball players weren't a bunch of Christmas hams? Let's all close our eyes and reminisce. Nolan Ryan isn't as cute as he once was, of course, but he's still alive so it counts, right?

Christian Bale, right on dude! *high five*

The Rock: funny you mention him. I found out this weekend that my cousin, who grew up in north Nashville, went to high school with the Rock. I gots connections, hell yeah!

And Steve Buscemi....wow, I just can't get over his role in Fargo and Armaggeddon. Damn what an actor.

EWAN MCGREGOR! Oh God how could I forget HIM?!? *smacks self in da head*

And Sean Bean. God I love whatever he's in.

    Good choices there radqueen!

Nice picks, guys. Hugh Laurie is fine! I had overlooked.
I added pictures to my previous post. And I'd put Ken Watanabe to the list.

On the same subject it reminds me of this new (Chinese I believe) Actress Wei Tang. Wow she is beautiful! But, I know this is a hot dudes thread.

And yea I have to say I dunno what it is, but Hugh Laurie is a good looking guy. It has a lot to do that I love House, but every time I get a chance to watch it at my mom's She always says, "Oh, honey, if I just had 1 night!". LOL That's my mom! Over a century old and cool as hell!

Well, I was aiming for eye candy in this instance, but American Psycho is one of my favorite films. It's a nightmarish satire of eighties culture (like RoboCop! Yay Robocop!) and I'm of those people who thinks that Bateman never actually killed anyone (which makes the culminating sensation of the film even worse). Also, I think it's funny that our mayor, Gavin Newsom, resembles Bateman but I'm weird like that.

i know what CJP, and a few of the other guys look like to. That's what I love about the net. You know people then you see what they look like. But, I have seen B's dog!

    Oh, and as for guys:

This is from a dude's perspective, but I like how Jared Leto looks:

Well, ladies? Do ya think I have good taste? I would also like to hear what you think about some of the ladies. You should join in on that discussion. When Sora brought up Ken, it reminded me of Ziyi Zhang (who is probably the most NATURALLY beautiful women in the world)

I'll try to get the dudes to check this out if you come by the ladies thread =D. I will admit I agree with Gerard Butler, Hugh Laurie, and Clive Owen. What about Daniel Craig? I know if a guy thinks they are bad ass dudes that a woman must think the same. I am just curious to see if our idea of what is attractive is what you guys think.

I wouldn't think Lance or some of the others. Jude Law and McGregor yea, but some of them I can't figure out. Michael Keaton for instance. I dunno. Mel Gibson maybe? What about Kurt Russel? I am guessing personality has something to do with a few of em.

It is interesting to me to hear "What women Want" and then see it through a guys eyes.

I'd also like to go on record now by saying I am a dude who isn't big on large breasts... a nice B is great a C too. I just don't go for too much "boobage". It's the quality of their shape. (a woman's body is probably the most beautiful thing... period and yes I have just revealed a part of my sensitive side)Some dudes go for this over abundant cleavage, but I thought I'd share that bit of insight with ya since I am getting my fair share of a woman's P.O.V.

ANY who... DUDES! Back to the dudes.

WTF??? There's girls on this forum??? I thought this place was a sausage-fest!
I've always defended Michael Bay against attacks that his films are full of stupid explosions, girls in underwear and mindless characters... but then he made Transformers 2 and I conceded...

Ya know, females are also Michael Bay fans.

    Sausage? Where?

    I'm a dog chasing cars. I don't know what I'd do if I caught one. I don't have plans. I just do things. I'm not a schemer.

I believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you... stranger.

Agreed! (Good on your for taking the hit, S. I was much too embarrassed! )

Ah, Daniel Craig. I was resigned to the fact that The Rock was going to be last good "James Bond" film until Casino Royale came around. Pierce Brosnan never did it for me. You started something with Brosnan in a bar and he'd probably laugh politely and change the subject. You start something with Sean Connery he would knock your b-tch ass down. That power, I admit, is sexy. Troubling, but sexy. Daniel Craig brought some real depth to the role and god, I could watch him climbing over walls all day. I'm much happier with a truly threatening, balanced James Bond. ("Although in retrospect, I would rather have been a poet, or a farmer." Balance!)

Probably. I imagine that if I were in public life--and the popularity contest that is politics, no less--I would be too, though.

Gavin Newsom's coolness is kind of unbearable, really.
