I mean think about it... If this is Shockwave from the movie, its clear to see this mode is a tank as it has treads. But they did that already with Megs right? I mean Shockwave has his cannon on the same arm and this toy is clearly a tank. Its been done already with Megs, There has to be more to Shockwave in the movie or he will just be a new revamped Megatron want-to-be. So... with that said, we all know we will never see a true triple changer in the Bay movies because its just not realistic to see say... a car change into a jet plane or a tank into a helicopter and so on. But if a bot is in Cybertronian mode, anything can be realistic. That bot can be a tank and then change into something else while still in Cybertronian mode and it will still fit into the scope of reality. I mean look... Megatron was a tank in ROTF but he also had his flight mode and that was only believable because he stayed in his Cybertronain mode. Yet Hasbro sold us two different Voyager toys for ROTF Megs... one pure tank and the other was the flying tank. I believe there will be a second Shockwave toy and we will see Shockwave have 2 forms as well.

Why do you think it is that the only character to get two different color figures is Barricade? I mean a wight legends and his true black in the Deluxe class.

As much as i like the new skids color and that it is one of the better figures in the DOTM line so far, I still think the ROTF model was better. It just seems like with as much as Hasbro is pushing the whole gimmick in the DOTM line, they scaled back the figures a lot. The arms and legs of most of the figures look cheap and very thin compared to the older TF movie lines and is it me or do a lot of the figures seem to be lacking in the waist department? I mean look at this Skids and compare the waist line to the ROTF toy. It seems like they cut half his waist out and thats why the new DOTM toy is shorter. The same with Shockwave... where the hell is his waist? he goes from big ass muscle man chest to legs lol

Oh boy, I was really liking that Skids until I saw how small he was compared to his ROTF counterpart. It seems like Mechtech thing is some cheap plot for Hasbro to make smaller, less expensive toys while still being able to fit them in their proper size classes. Wasn't there a leader class Bumblebee that was small even for voyager status, but was packed with freakishly huge weapons?

It seems like size class now means how much shit is in the box, and not how big the actual action figure itself is.

Yes this. I think Hasbro needs to go back and if they make a new line after this line... go back to what they had going in the ROTF and HFTD lines. This DOTM line as a whole is shity!! I mean Ill probably still get Voyager Megatron and the twins so far because I think they look the best so far. And the reason I want the new Megs is this may be the only time we will ever get a movie Megs in a Earth form and his cannon does not feel like its too big for the toy like all the other mech tech ugly big ass guns lol

You know what Hasbro should do? After the movies, they ought to make a "premium" series geared towards collectors, featuring accurate transformations, color schemes, scale, and all around great quality, using robots from all of the movies.

If not, then...well...TakaraTomy usually is good with this stuff, such as this beautiful work of art:

YES!!!!! this is what I want!! I mean if they can make a kick ass toy like this then what the hell is wrong with the shity toys they are trying to push on us now. I mean this figure is somethingon the lines of what I was hoping we would get in quality from Hasbro in the DOTM line. I guess it was too much to ask?

Yes, it is too much to ask...because it's too much money to make, unfortunately.

lol with as much plastic as they waisted making those big ass guns, they could have used that plastic to make better movie like molds and give them properly sized waists lol.

Yeah but I think it's a lot easier to make a hunk of plastic than to make better, more intricate mold for the robots. Those things have to transform, the guns are static.

So prime will combine with his trailer... SWEET! And the toy has a lot of extra slots for other character's mech tech weapons? I just think people would have to be stupid to go out to but all these toys just so they can take all the weapons and stick them on Prime to make him this massive weapons platform... at least thats what im understanding from all of this.

All right guys, here is the biggest update yet:

Red Leader of TFW2005 is bringing us the roundup from UK Toy Fair 2011. He has not only listed down what we are getting this year but also added detailed description about each item. We now know exactly what new names such as Cyberverse or Gobots (I kid you not) mean and represent. Find out who’s arriving and who’s leaving…

From Mechtech to Transformers: Dark of the Moon Stealth force, learn what he has to say by clicking here.

    Kudos Red Leader!

may be (Spoilers) but out of everything on the toy list Im still drawn back to what i brought up before...

    Energon Shock Sword
Key weapon used by the nest forces and a key character in the movie 3 battles. Automatic converting weapon converts from cybertronian weapons into the energon shock sword used to protect earth from the decepticons.

If this Sword is either Vector Prime's Cyber Caliber Sword or the mini-con star saber sword, what would be so powerful that someone like Optimus or sentinel Prime might need it. Dare I say Unicron or Galvatron? Could this sword be the key item that Optimus, Ironhide and Lennox go to Ukraine to get? Is this sword on the the Ark?
