Id still much rather have 2 lines and have the movie line more geared for collecters with the toys being more true to the movie and not have all this gimmicky crap.
didnt toy story 3 have more than one line? one for kids and one for "collectors"

I really hope DOTM isn't getting two lines, because on the evidence so far I'll end up liking both!

More details from the Internet (No pics. Refer to earlier released pics). More details are out there. But I will not be quoting them here.

    SPOILERS

So, it seems like my theory is right. Those Giant Things on Voyager Class DOTM Optimus Prime are indeed Rocket Boosters. From a Shuttle? Maybe.

From a toy reviewer actually having Voyager Prime in-hand:
To the top of the head, DOTM Prime is about 1/8" shorter than Battle Blades op when properly transformed. Also, all of the weird stuff, including the chest cheat is intentional. Prime's vehicle mode is a compromise so that his robot mode features Prime fully outfitted for space maneuverability. Jet pack, Heat shielding panels on the arms and legs, and heat shield detailing on the chest windows, and giant jet boots. Doesn't look to be jetfire remnants, but could be the same rocket engine additions seen on the cyberverse figure, but fully integrated into the transformation/vehicle mode instead of just stuck on the back of the truck like the cyberverse version.

what if Prime and the bots go to the space center in florida to get prime upgraded for a hero moment. what if they go there because simmons says there is some reversed engineered cybertronian thing or an artifact that prime merges with to go into space?

or what if Simmons or someone else knows there is another old Seeker or true Cybertronian at the Space center? Maybe the shuttle? Also remember that one of the rumors floting around was that not only is the shuttle a bot but maybe the 3 rockets as well.

i think it's inevitable that Simmons knows something. he helped find the cube, the daggers tip, and so if he was in Florida I figure he's taking them somewhere. the group thing may be a little overdone. th wreckers and dreads I guess it would be cool to see a group of giant (seekers) that maybe don't have a side? I'd like to see some characters that left before the war so they don't have a faction

The thing everyone has to remember about simmons is he probably even knows more than he lets on as his family helped to start S-7. Simmon's Grandfather was one of the sailors that found Megs in the ice with Sam's Great Grandfather. Simmon's grandfather later founds S-7 and is just known as the "Old Man" then. Simmon's dad is born and once he is old enough, enters the war in WWll where later is brought into S-7 to aid the "old Man". Im sure Simmon's that we know came shortly after. So The Simmon's line through and through is S-7. The second person we see in the casting under the name Simmons, could be someone to play a flashback of either Simmon's dad or Grandfather from their younger days in S-7.

Sure we have... even though Megs is old in name, he has a 100% different mode now in the movies, that makes him a new character so-to-speak.

    2. cyberverse prime
    3. voyager(?) prime
    4. voyager megatron

thanks to our friends over at Seibertron.com we have more info on what may be more DOTM toys. One is the lowes Nascar and the other is one of the Con SUVs. Both seem to be Legend class... but this is also more proof that the Nascars do transform and are not just human created weponized cars. Thanks for the link guys...http://www.seibertron.com/transforme...-appear/20544/

These are very real IMO. You're right China is good at selling fake stuff, but they're even better at stealing real stuff from the factories and selling it on for a huge profit.

Anyone considered that all the sponsors' logos on the Wreckers might hint at what's to come as far as the marketing campaign goes?

I'd be surprised if there isn't some sort of 'event' at a NASCAR race this year... can see the trio doing a promo run IMHO

AFAIK Bay made a mention of 'Dreads' somewhere.... and that Legend of the Lowes NASCAR looks to have dreadlocks.... co-incidence?

It's from the ROTF line. And you're on the right lines it's a repaint of Sideways with a different head.

No idea why this guy is displaying his new toys ontop of the packaging though.
