It will be so interesting to see the fabric incorporated into the transformation. It can't possibly turn out the same way every time...it's fabric.

I think it will always cover his face when he wants it to. I think the autobots won't recognize him and when he inevitably fights prime he rips it off showing it. I also think they should just use fabric on the toy to.

The tanker truck looks way bigger than Prime without his trailer. Why people keep saying he's smaller?

it's the cab that's smaller. prime has a huge sleeping area on him. megs is just a one row seated cab

If the theory about Optimus combining with his own trailer is correct, Optimus might then be taller than Megs.

Maybe not taller just more bulky looking. But don't know.

I think if Prime combines with his trailer he wont get much taller but it will become more-so armor and maybe a battle shield like in Josh Nizzi's ROTF concept art.

I undersatnd that. But I still dont see why the ugly tanker out of all things? Now here is another question... Being Megs is the Tanker, the toy at least does not show us any reason to think that this Megs will still fly. Will this Megs still do the ground/fly thing? will he both be a ground pounder and a flyer like in ROTF? Or will they leave the flying up to the other Megs lol

That truck sure sticks out here in the U.S., but not so much a war torn area like the Middle East. Remember, at the end of ROTF, Starscream and Megatron were retreating. They don't have to go far and they could find that truck for Megatron to assume the form of. Just a thought.

from the pic of the toy megz, his waist looks really small, and legs are huge. i know it's just a toy, but this megz don't look as bulky as the last two.

well lets see... Megs is a lone wolf now so-to-speak, he seems to have went into hiding for the most part. Id think after being homeless and having to fend for himself now... no food no water lol, he would start to lose weight and get skinny in the waist. LOL im just messing with you. To be honest... I like the idea of Megs taking an Earth form, it shows he's been knocked down a peg and has to become something he hates, becoming more human-like. But I still dont feel the truck mode (yet) I know it will grow on me. As for the toys... i still think the movie one jet Megs was the best built and looked the best. Megs had bulk in all the right areas of the body and was well portioned. The arms and legs fit the body. The ROTF tank/flying abomination that we got was horrid and Megs was way to bulky in the legs and had hardly no real arms to speak of. Even his way over sized cannon was too much. This DOTM Megs looks way to skinny to me and the head just doesnt fit the body (I think).

Megatron to me, seems to be a bit of an outcast. He looks like he is going to be in the shadows more until an important part of the movie. He was unable to get himself fixed after OP smashed his face all up and He was unable to transform correctly into his other alt-modes, so what else do you pick but an old crappy truck that rattles and shakes. The cloak is to hide who he is, he doesn't want the others to know what he has been reduced to, but he will get a makeover.

Those are my First two-bits.

that's an interesting theory.... if he feels he's now weak due to the injuries and the loss of his master, i can see him taking on a lowly Earth mode...
