KIm Jung Il is trying to get his son who is his 20's to take over the throne. Il is going to last much longer and NK is in a state of decline. Il's government well topple within the next 5 years and he knows it. Thats why he's trying to get his son to take his place. Even China, NK's big brother is reluctant to help NK at this time.
