hello Mr Bay

I enjoy a lot your films and the latest of course.
Being in the business of home theaters, I had the chance to see the presentation at CINEMAEXPO back in JUNE
The sound was absolutely reference and of the highest levels in terms of low frequencies and dynamics. People were floored
Upon several testing of the HD DVD, the sound mix in dolby digital plus does not seem to be identical. And trust us we do use pro gear, pro cinema speakers and enough amplification.
Did Paramount use a toned down mix to fit better the masses small systems ?

Spielberg's movies for instance do not suffer from that.

even the dvd region 3 encoding seems a bit more dynamic and deeper in bass.

A special edition with a closer to the original sound mix would surely find buyers. it's not about the codec used but about the mix for consumers imho.

Thank you for reading this question and commentary

happy new year and looking forward your upcoming projects.
