The reason I ask this is because some new toys have been seen for the Reveal The Shield Legends class toys and one is called Trailcutter and looks just like Trailbreaker?

Bingo. I think they did lose the rights. And for that reason, I'm pissed off.

    Trailcutter? Really?

Oh no, you didn't piss me off. It's the fact that they're using "Trailcutter" as the new name. I actually knew about it like a couple weeks ago.

Okay fine, I'll accept Trailcutter as my twin brother, maybe we'll arm him with a pair of scissors or something. But me, I break things, not cut 'em.

I don't know how they could have lost the rights. Unless I'm mistaken the Takara toys had no names nor good guys/bad guys. The Toys didn't get names until Hasbro came up with the TV show.

The only other "Trailbreaker" I can think of used by a different company is the ROKON "Trail-breaker," which, despite being slow as f*ck, is an extremely rugged dirt bike whose engine delivers power to both the front and back wheels. The thing can climb freakin' rocks for crying out loud.

I dunno about you guys, but I would LOVE to see something like this launch out of Trailbreaker's truck bed.

Yeah, they can. There was some weirdness with the name Jetfire once, that's why in G1 he's called Skyfire.

There was also legal issues with Ratchet's markings G1 in. *rolls eyes*
