its not a Autobot. Its a fans jeep that he took to try and get it seen.

And by the way the Jeep was also spoted in DC. Actually there was no direct confirmation that the crew won't use the Jeep in the movie even though it's someone's personal vehicle. There was a huge fan support.

A battle-sized and ready Wheelie would be a nice addition. However, it would raise at least one key problem. For the first movie, Mr. Bay already established that he wants the Transformers to adhere to the laws of physics (meaning that the size of the character is the same, whether in vehicle or humanoid form).

If Wheelie were to change form and increase his size at least 40 times over, there would need to be some manner of explanation as to how this occurred--- and that might take-up valuable screen time. I imagine that it could be done, but it would definitely be a challenge.
