Yeah, that would never happen.. /sarcasm

In Matrix Reloaded, when Agent smith pulls up to the warehouse where the ship captains are meeting, his Audi has the license plate "IS 5416". In the Bible, Isaiah 54:16 reads as follows (from the King James Version): "Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy." In another version, it's simply "Behold, I am the Smith, who cometh to destroy". Just one example. Not that DoTM is going to be as deep as the Matrix movies or anything, just pointing out that it's not as silly as you suggest.

    just putting it out there
    Could be Genesis 3:16...
    “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.”

    Or maybe Revelation 3:16
"So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth"

    Just throwing that out there.

Thank you both for bringing clarity to this discussion. As it's not unusual for Hollywood productions to use Biblical symbolism or references, it'll be interesting to see whether that's what's in play in this instance.

Your acknowledgement is appreciated, and a welcome contrast to those who might mask their lack of awareness through "antics" such as mocking Christianity with supposed knee slappers.

to be honest, i would rather have the fire truck be ultra magnus then sentinel prime, it just makes more sense, optimus is the last of the primes and ultra magnus is the leader of the wreckers

I agree with you most of the time Shadow, but on this one I have to disagree. I I don't want to see Prime merge with anything but his trailer. He is a great stand alone character. I don't think he needs to combine with anyone.

you are 100% right but if he was to combine with another bot, id have to say it may very well be the fire truck. And I say this only from looking at it from a Hasbro combining toy like we seen with OP and Jetfire. It made Hasbro money as eveyone had to have the two leader class toys just to combine them. I already know we will get a new leader class OP and I know the fire truck will be a leader class as well. So it is very possible that it may happen in the movie.

I wasn't mocking Christianity. You may have noticed that one of the 3:16 verses I quoted is in The Old Testament. I'm also not trying to mask a lack of awareness of anything. I'm just pointing out how ridiculous some people sound when they try to find meaning behind EVERYTHING seen in a movie.

    :sigh:
the E7 in nest hq and Hoover dam in the first two are the production code for the tf movies. Chicago had e7 cubed everywhere.

Not sure about the E7 thing but this from hotwire...While we're at it, I'm certain the giant "E4" on the side of Ratchet means something. He is right, the E4 does mean something lol. Its the company engine number. All Firehouse fire trucks and their first responder units have E-and a number on them.

    From what I know...

E73 is the project title for Transformers: Dark of the Moon (E7, E72 and E73 respectively represents Transformers 2007, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and DOTM Project Code Names. Am I right Nelson? )

E4 on Ratchet is I believe the Area Code which an Ambulance/Police Unit/Fire Truck etc. must operate/stay on duty/serve in real life. It's called a "Call Sign". More info : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_sign But I could be wrong.

My bad... Wrong Wikipedia article... It's not called a Call Sign... (I just woke up... Still sleepy).
I guess they call it an Area Code.
