You answerd your own question Megs... its a rumor as of now. This question could hav been asked in the spoiler thread that was already created about the tanker truck maybe being Megatron. No need to start a new thread to ask the question that so many have asked already.

If its true that would be the first time Megs takes an Earth mode...I highly doubt it...due to Megs hatred towards mankind...but who knows?

The reason Meatron has different forms in all the movies is because thats the way Hasbro wants it lol. New form, new toys to sell and that makes them... NEW MONEY!!! LMAO!! But really... in the movie verse, there isnt really a set design for a transformer. Just because a TF takes on the form of a car or tank for that matter, does not mean thats the only thing they can be. Even in their Cybertronian forms... what we see is not their true form. Its a taken form, even under their Cybertronian outside look is their Protoform. And in this movie verse... there is nothing stopping a TF from rescanning mutiple times. The only catch is whatever they scan has to be close to their starting size. Thats why I dont think we will ever see true triple changers in Earth modes. If BB wanted to scan the camaro, then change into a Nascar or even a small pickup truck, would that make him a triple changer? No. He just rescaned is all.

I don't think an earth mode triple-changer could ever exist because if you're going from say a car to a tiny little helicopter the same size, how the heck are you going to hide all of the car parts? And vise versa?

Mixmaster was a pseudo triple changer. Going Robot-Truck-Gun Plaform. He had a dedicated armored gun emplacement style form in RotF.

I really cant see Megs taking this form. I think if it were silver or black then maybe but camo?...nah. I kinda hope its Wreck-Gar. But if it is Megs and somehow hes forced to take a form (maybe by shockwave) that before he scans it he says something like "ugh this sh** will work"

There was a time...i think it was in the comics... that Megs took a backseat to Shockwave because Shockwave over powered Megs and forced Megs into more of a soldier's role. If the Tanker is Megs, then maybe thats whats happend here.

I'm still going to think outside the box and say there are 2 Megatrons lol
