Well, I don't think I would go on to call some people here morons, but I agree with the fact that it's Bay's movie and he can call it whatever he wants.

Personally, I think they're onto something. I think there's more to this title than meets the eye. (Yes, pun intended)

We all know he's directing it. These threads are in place for us to debate things like this. Yes I too think some people are way to judging of little things like a movie's title but you know what? ITS FUN for some. Let them say they think it sounds better in what ever way they think. There is no need to get on here and call anyone a moron... not for something such as this.

It wouldnt be a Transformer movie by Bay if there wasnt something more to the movie than we see lol. I think the title is a good title.

Has this even been confirmed yet? I mean, it seems like this story broke on one website and just spread from there but couldn't it all easily be taken out of context? The title was listed as a *book*...so it seems possible, in my opinion, that it could just be a prequel book that sets up the story of the film. Or something like that. And that's pretty common with films these days, which adds to the possibility methinks.

Yea, I keep hoping Mr. Bay will squash the rumor or confirm it on here.

I'm one of the moderators over at BoxOfficeMojo.com and ever since ComingSoon.net (or which ever site broke it first) posted the article, that and all of the movie sites have gone crazy...most people just accepting it as fact. I would think that Michael and/or Paramount/DW/Hasbro would officially announce/confirm it though...

No, the "The" might stay. It's not necessary to add "The" when applying for the Trademark, I guess.

I just heard a rumor the title The Dark Of The Moon is because in the movie our moon is Unicron!!!!
