never understood why the comics & the adaptation novel get released BEFORE the movie... it just means that you have to avoid most of the internet if you don't want the whole thing ruined

Thats the chief reason people would buy the books in the first place - to see the ending before the movie comes out.

but with movies like this... its not what you know, its how you choose to take in what you know to make the final experience even better

This post goes out to Shadow, who brought us timely reviews of the prequel comic books and his awesome theories. Thanks for all the awesome work here on this thread. Going to miss you buddy!

@Nelson: Sir, we do hope that you’ll allow back Shadow.

Transformers: Rising Storm #2 is hitting the comic book stands and guess what? Albershide was right!

Whole lot of good stuff in this issue!

Confirmation that Soundwave has been bidding his time making plans/preparations for Megatron.. a full body shot of Soundwave.. Mirage.. Wheeljack.. Ratbat and all the other 'tapes'.. Tunguska.. etc

Maybe even sowing the seeds for a TF Beast Machines type story.. I'd imagine what Megatron is referring to is the Moon having some Cybertronian elements to it.. hence the new space race and perhaps why it threw off Megatron and Shockwave's flight paths?

    EDIT:
    Also, Barricade returns!
    Well there are many hints.

Well read rising storm 2 so here is a review in the absence of shadow so SPOILERS ahead

It looks like the bot that was captured by the Russians was indeed Shockwave he is revived by megs whom does not have face damage in the comic.

Brains master is astrotrain and brains has something the cons want he is friends with wheelie. Sam, wheelie, brains, bee are interupted by Cade who fights with bee other cons show up, wheelejack and mirage show up mirage is a red bot so make of that what you will.

Just bits of the story so as not to ruin the story for anyone not read it yet.

No doubt about Ferrari 458 Italia now. I'm pretty sure the official confirmation will come.

wasn't that place in Russia where shockwave lands the actual site of a meteor that exploded before crashing, producing a "shockwave" that blew down all the trees around it for miles? If it is, its actually a clever plot point!

You are correct... at least as far as my knowledge goes. And John Barber the writer of that comic is like that. He's really REALLY good at keeping things in continuity AND making it make since. I've had a chance to talk with the guy, He's awesome. I have every confidence that he will handle the comic movie verse very very well.
