Default TF3 going back in time?

well... I said it from the start and I stand by what I said. We will get some sort of back in time scene and or time travel.

I say flashback, no time travel, just doesn't fit the Transformers Bayverse.

I've been pondering the whole time travel theory and in some senses it does fit. It would explain the whole new lot of Autobots appearing or rumored in TF3. I always got the impression that the Autobots forces were slim and all that was left, are now on Earth. It would explain the rumored Sentinel Prime and the "Q" bot. We've always argued how did Optimus Prime gain his trailer but maybe the fact is that we are looking at it backwards. Maybe Optimus had lost his trailer prior to TF1.

Hmmm... I think there are more chances for flashback than chances for time travel. But just my opinion.

My guess is that the movie always switches between a flashback and the present time, maybe to explain the entire plot.

    Flashbacks, people.

Did everyone forget about that leak regarding the opening scene? The one about JFK getting a briefing about "activity on the moon"?

I don't think there is any time travel involved. I didn't see this car in any of the set pics:

Don't get me wrong I hope this is only flashbacks. I really hate time travel because in theory the storyline will never end. Someone can always go back and alter the future. It's a bad way to end a trilogy.

I agree with the idea of flashbacks (which, one could argue is a form of time travel). The main reason I say this is that true time travel is something that some audience members have a hard time following. Also; it could mandate they be aware of at least two different "tracks" at the same time (just look at Inception and the last few seasons of Lost), and I suspect that isn't something Mr. Bay and his crew wants to force the audience to navigate. Rather, there are other challenges they want to pose to the audience...

Those have got to be flashbacks. There is no way it would work otherwise. Entire movieverse had been established in present day so going backwards would be just senseless.
