It won't become the highest grossing movie of all time but it should satisfy us fans.

Nope I highly doubt it because most people were convinced by critics that the 2nd movie blowed. But what matters is that it will make the TF fans happy. Who cares about the other people that watch it with no clue what TF is about

I'm Avatar Special Edition will gross as much in it's limited edition showing. Afterall Avatar is great and i think TS3 might rival it on the Sci-fi adventure greatness scope.

Considering how avatar will be re-released in theaters next week in 3D (& Imax), I highly doubt it.

what's the point? ohh, because of Cameron wanted to show off Navi sex.

Besides Navis are basically the descendents of Nightcrawler from X-Men, don't you think? i've seen comics, manga and anime with plenty of alien sex including some porn and Heavy Metal magazine.

From my experience i ONLY believe that :

Transformers could possibly beat Avatar if the crews : Hasbro , Bay , Paramount-Dreamworks and the staff made the best advertising EVER , The BEST VFX EVER ( AS ALWAYS ...NO COMPLAINS ABOUT THAT ...) AND THE BEST TFS story movie EVER like the BAD BIG AND SMART Cameron did ))) ONLY THEN COULD beat Avatar 3D Or 2D or whatever ... Except AVATAR however ... TF3 will be a blow out of the earth movie for all the world NOT JUST THE Billions of fans like me )))) !!!!
TRANSFORMERS HAVE THE STRONG BASE AVATAR HAVE NOTHING EXCEPT ...well....advertising and more advertising and more 3D.... ))) Hasbro must close a look at this section and i say as before that :

I dont care what anyone says. I think TF3 has every opportunity with the right promo of overcoming that enviromental nut job Cameron and his lousy movie Avatar. I went to it and to be honest I thought it just wasnt that great with all its eco messages. Im not knockin anyone who enjoyed it I just dont like being force fed someone elses eco messages when watching a movie for entertainment.

It could have potential to beat Avatar, but it probably won't, especially considering the bad rep critics gave Revenge of the Fallen.

In Box Office it's an absolute no. Both previous films grossed together lesser money than one Avatar.

In terms of quality of 3D it's hard to tell. In Avatar they created a whole digital world. In Transformers they will most likely not do that for they don't need that. Maybe some cool action/flight scenes would benefit from 3D, but other than that... not too much. Though judging before a movie comes out is never a good thing.

I agree . TF3 will be many more but with much better advertised all around the world and not just in USA ))))

Avatar the Last Airbender adaptation? Sure, because ATLA live action adaptation sucked, and I loved both Transformers movies.
