Twilight Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko
Third part of the Russian fantasy saga about an eternal cold war between light and darkness. As good as usual.
I specially like the way the book manages to get things bigger and more epic, and at the same time keeps it in a very personal level. And how the details end up being always important.
The Twilight series is ok but it feels like fanfiction at times and some of the writing is poor.
I just finished reading "Let Me In" which is the novel that inspired the modern vampire movie masterpiece "Let The Right One In" from Sweden (Awesome movie, please rent it before you see the American adaptation).
I gotta read those.
You should read "Let Me In", such a beautiful, dark and violent vampire novel that is like Twilight for adults and imported from Sweden. Also see Let The Right One In (The adaptation).
