I just got the Space Vampires and have read it, it's very good and created by Colin Wilson of Max Headroom fame. This is a unique Sci-fi take on vampires but as aliens instead of the undead, influenced Lifeforce (1985) and Buck Rogers's space vampires episode. The vampires in this movie are aliens who came to Earth eons ago to become the ancestors to the vampires of legend and they don't suck blood but energy instead like Psychic vampires do, bt don't worry since they are different, it doesn't mean they sparkle.

I am currently reading The Shining by Stephen King.

Recently read: Blackhawk Down, as well as a history of Chinese American women, also "Miwoks to Missles" (the history of Angel Island). Also, "The Wordy Shipmates" by Sarah Vowell, which was wonderful. And the last fiction I read was "Silver" which is the "autobiography" of Long John Silver. It was a fun read. I recommend them all.

Currently reading: Angel Island: Immigrant Gateway to America.

Next read (Hopefully): Exodus, and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Killer.

Yes, I read what some people would say is boring stuff, but its part of my job. Not to mention I enjoy reading them. . .

Its fictional, and a friend of mine who is a Lincoln historian says its hilarious! Its basically a story about what Lincoln was doing with his "after hours" time! I also saw another in the same "vein" (pardon the pun) at the book store yesterday called "Jane Slayer" as a take off on Jane Eyre. Want to get that too

Actually, if you have never read the original Dracula, the one by Bram Stoker, I highly reccommend it. It is a truly chilling tale.

I just picked up Heat Wave by Richard Castle. This is actually a novel by the fictional character from the TV series Castle on ABC. They decided to release a book to go with the show.

Personally, I love the show so I couldn't pass it up.
