Optimus just ripped his arm off and he put it back on like it was nothing. I hardly call that a near death experiance lol. Starscream may be a sneaky snake in the grass but he is made off sterner stuff then most give him credit for. Starscream will play a big role in the next movie, you'll see. He may die but I dont believe he'll go down easy.

If Starscream (one of my favorite characters), dies at the hands of a human - that would be a lame way to go. Killing off a character for the sake of killing off a character never works. If Starscream does die, I hope its midway in the movie and then later in the movie his ghost appears.

unless they are using Transformers Armada as a basis. Remember StarScream showed his good side for Alexis .. and sacrificed himself. this fits in with Cybertron wars where Starscream was originally an Autobot like Skyfire,

If Starscream does die in the film I bet it's a heroic moment sticking it to Megatron for the good of humanity with a n "evil undertone" like his spark arising to be one with Unicron.

now... I must say, i like this as I too remember those events in the cartoons... but if Starscream is killed I think it will be because he finally turns on Megatron and or Shockwave.

I don't believe Starscream was ever an Autobot, he was just a scientist before the war.

The movie franchise has portrayed him as pathetic, but he was quite capable in many of the universes.
