Good point, I consider myself as a mainstream Spiderman-fan, I was really looking forward to see Kirsten & Tobey back for SM4. I m still pissed at Sony about the decision they made to reboot the series. Only the diehard Spidey fans are jumping for joy. Just like the G1 fanboys will.......

The mainstream public(box office) are more powerful than the little diehard communities. Sony will be the first to pay the price !

The reporter said that it will the last movie in this trilogy.
And of course -if you can count to three- it sounds logical. A trilogy has only 3 movies.

Still, that doesn't mean, that it is the last transformers movie by michael bay.

I hope ur right. I'd want to see more TF movies by Michael Bay: it would be REALLY great.
If they decide make more TF movies by another director, it would be nice too, but I prefer Bay by far.

Ok guys... ill give it a go. Im not going to say for fact but I was told and this is just rumor(for now) that this is the last movie for this trilogy. Will this be the last movie ever? No. Now take into concideration that some well known transformers may die in the climactic ending to this movie. Im not going to speculate on who or the number of bots that will die but I have been told that some will. Why? To make room for the next Trilogy. The Transformers universe is massive and once the next set of 3 movies is given the go ahead, anything can happen. We could get a prequel trilogy like star Wars... we could even get a alternate reality with the Autbots being bad and the Decepticons being good. We could even get a full cgi trilogy by that point. I can only believe that the cgi advancements would in the next few years allow for them to do a Cybertron War prequel trilogy. Id love to see that myself.

Agreed!!! As it was said by the master of movies, Steven Spielberg, "Michael Bay was born to direct Transformers, he is the perfect fit for this (Transformers) concept." I agree with him, which is why I don't mind if Bay wants to make other movies in between the TF movies and give his brain a rest from transforming robots, just as long as he gets to do them, I dont care, even if its only 5 years from now! I'll wait gladly!!! Bay made the TF franchise and TF movies into what they are today which is why I think he should continue making them, they are his! Michael Bay ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both Bay and Spielberg don't seem that interested in the Transformers franchise anymore. They have both bought rights for other sci-fi action series and by 2012 Hasbro has to renegotiate Transformers rights but I don't see either Spielberg or Bay will in getting back to the franchise.. if they will they might just be producers to get a percentage out of the franchise but I think they really decided to quit so Hasbro will need new executive producers and new directors.

Well I don't see how this is possible. Bay took a very long break with the Bad Boys movies and now Bad Boys 3 is gonna come. Thats why I don't think they will leave the franchise at all, they making too much money from it and they play a big part in making these movies as good as they are and making them possible in the first place. Bay might take a break from the TF movies for a couple of years and then come back for another TF movie just like what he's gonna do with the Bad Boys movies (which is fine with me, no problem there), but I cant see him leaving completely.

    Agreed!
Bay is not the kind of man that leaves easily (or does him? I don't think so): I think he'll take a break and then will continue with the franchise.
(But that's his decision, not mine. If he decides to leave and make other movies, fine. But I'd really want to see him again with the TF franchise)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way, of course there's nothing we can do if he does leave (which in my opinion doesn't seem to be very realistic) but yes I'd also love to see him again with the TF franchise and continue with it!!! Bay and TF Forever!!!

As much as I'd love to see it too, I think they are done with it. They have to move on.

Maybe you right, (imo I hope you wrong) but just remember that they said that when TF1 came out and look what happened (They made TF2). But hey, the only person who would really know the truth about the future of the TF franchise with MB involved is the man himself... Michael Bay. I'll rather wait for it to come from his very own mouth than try speculate about it further.

Thank you! Thats what I was trying to say! MB knows himself what he's gonna do, so lets stop speculating about this and wait for the words to come from his very own mouth!
