Patrick Dempsey as a Decepticon?

Ok guys... I was given a bit of info that Patrick Dempsey's character is really a Decepticon. Could be another Pretender type? or maybe Rumble in disguise? This is just rumor as of now but it would make sence as to why Sam is fighting him in the movie. Also it has been shown that Dempsey was taken out of that sceen and a green pole was put in to replace him. The pole is for sure a replacement for a cgi character... Dempsey's hidden Pretender maybe?

My theory:

It's Rumble. He was deployed by Soundwave between ROTF and TF3 and his primary objective was to infiltrate the human race in order to find Sam. By blending in with human society, he can learn how the human mind works thus making it easier to find Sam and prepare the Decepticons for invasion of Earth.

funny I met Patrick Dempsey a few times but never spoken when I volunteer at the Veterans Hospital at Sepulveda,Ca. Its where they film Grey's Anatomy. His sports cars license plates are called Patrick Dempsey.LOL!I didnt know he is in Transformers 3 till last week.

In a scene he points a gun at Shia's character. I don't believe he is a pretender. I think he might be a character who is profiting from the Decepticons presence or has stolen Transformer technology and with Sam's presence might ruin his fortune and fame.

Got to agree with this.. going the pretender route again it did not work in ROTF (well maybe for the little boys) but its been done did not work so why bring it up again.

I agree that he's unlikely to be a Decepticon. An actor of his stature would not likely agree to portray a character along those lines. Portraying a villain aligned with the Decepticons, however, would be a different story.

YES YES YES!!! I agree, I think it will be awesome to have a human villian who is secretly leaking info about Sam and the Autobots to Megatron and other decepticons!
