You know Nelson.. I was actually thinking that.. cause of the licence plate on it.. kinda had me thinking it was a privately owned vehicle.

And on top of that, all of that custom detailing on it looks a bit too excessive to be part of the Autobot cast. Yes, all of the Autobots in the movie look tricked out, but not that tricked out.

I tend to believe you most of the time Nelson, but I'll ask the same question I posed on the TFW2005 forums; Why was the Jeep allowed on set if it wasn't part of the production?

It was a publicity stunt on behalf of the owner in which "reportedly" some set people fell for. It never made it into the set. Have you seen images of it being take off the flatbed and getting prepped? No.

Have you notice that most of not all the videos have been mysteriously removed by the studio?

Interesting. I do find it a bit odd after speaking to the owner of the Jeep that after he told me "definitively" that it was going to be in the movie, he now says he can't comment on it at this time. Thanks for the clarification on the matter Nelson.

OK, read carefully. Nelson said the owner was TRYING to get it on the set, that would tell us that the owner had the car in Chicago NEAR the set, now wouldn't it? Or do you think that all of Chicago was "the set?"

Well im not jumping on the its not Roll Bar bandwagon just yet lol And if it was a fake and a good one ill say... then Bay better get better security. I would be pissed if security was that lax as to not even know what is or isnt suppose to be on set. Im still not buying it yet. I hope those who let a massive semi truck roll onto set with the red Wrangler on back and had not the faintest idea of it was ment to be there or not... be firered. I mean come on... all those people, stars and fans around the sets. Anyone for that matter could have rolled up with a custom car and told security "This is a new car for a sceen here and it could have been all tricked out and packed with explosives or the such and BOOM!!! There goes a lot of people. I hate to think this way or sound so dark but if again,if that was a fake and snuck on set. Fire those who allowed it.

I agree... there is also the possibility that he got it near the set and people snapped photos assuming it was for the movie...the fan base wouldn't know the difference.

Man I forgot about that LOL Good Times... Here my issue though ....with the fire truck and blue benz Nelson could be saying those are fake as well.... why wouldn't he try to mislead us on those more important characters? Who knows....i still wanted the damn jeep to be trail blazer lol

the reason he cant say the benz or fire truck are fake is because they have been seen all over the sets and interacting with other Autobots. As the the red jeep is has never been caught on camera and very well may have been a fake. Im just not ready to jump on the bandwagon yet. You have to remember how much of ROTF was never caught on camera. We hardly seen the Arcee sisters bikes out in the open and or we didnt see much of the volt in the open either, yet they were in the movie. If the Jeep is real... maybe it never was meant to be in these sceens but it was just now being transported to Chicago to be ready to move to Detroit with the others or somewhere else close? What if it had just came from the custom shop?

Its my Jeep, First of all to clarify , I have never told anyone its in the movie or not in the movie , I also have not posted any videos or removed them . I was asked by a friend of mine that lives in Chicago to bring it up to get it in front of Bays people to possibly be used as an extra. I brought it up and spoke with a few people from Paramount that assumed it was in the movie , I never said it was and inquired as to whom I could talk to about being an extra or possibly a character in the movie . I was in the city for about 3 hours. I did not get on to the set or try to for that matter , although everyone just seemed to know for sure it was already in the film, The security was asking were I was going to unload it. At that point I figured I better leave before they think I am some crazed fan pulling some publicity stunt . The videos and pics were of it on the cross street to where they were filming. In the last week, I have said nothing on any Forum , I just let it go . Here it is a week and half later , 30,000 views on tfw2005.com 8,000 or so on Siebertron.com 8,000 plus on youtube , a picture of the Jeep on Roll Bars Wikipedia page, Countless people waiting to buy the toy , a few haters that had something to talk about for a week . Its been crazy I did get an email from DW , I have submitted a tech sheet and photos as to wether or not its ever going to happen , I couldn't tell you even If I knew. If you liked it wish me luck !!
