So, my Navy son got his first set of orders (verbal) yesterday. He will be assigned on the USS Micheal Murphy, out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The ship is still in the Bath, Maine shipyard, its keel only being laid in June, so my son will be on the inaugural crew. Pre-commissioning. Hopefully we will see him in the next few weeks when he has leave before his report date!
