Its got blue eyes, so i'm saying Autobot. But for the love of chocolate, why does he have glasses and hair?? I mean, even with scalple in TF2, i kept asking, "They can ajust their lenses at will, why on earth does he need glasses?" And the hair? I hope they dont sacrifice plausibility for humor!

Let us consider optics, shall we. A microscopic with one lens can be adjusted only so far before needing to have another lens added to increase magnification.

So taking this into the world of robots, how would you explain the extra lens used for a higher magnification?

Consider this...the last "old" looking bot we saw was Jetfire who was a seeker. Recall the locations of the seekers on Wheelies map in TF2. One location was without a doubt Chicago. Maybe the old car? Just offering a theory...

Micheal Do - not seen the SLS AMG's number plate yet, but the one on the Blue Merc is German.... it's white and has the D in the blue to signify it's German..... British Number plates are white on the front, yellow at the back.

I like the look of that head.... lots of character there.... and if the 'hair' is fibre optics... then it could be Wheeljack....

Oh boy, really didn't want to see anymore geriatric robots since to me robots shouldn't age like humans, and it seems like their in there mostly for comedy relief, but I still can't wait to see this.

Looking around various sites I love how the vocal minority have got their collective knickers in a twist over this. Yet it's fine when G1 sticks a beard on Scourge, and Alpha Trion, and totally acceptable that Perceptor in Animated has glasses.

Yeah I think people are getting a little crazy over the whole why does he have hair thing, for me I don't mind that they have features that represent hair because they had that in cartoon, I just hope he isn't some old Autobot who will be falling apart all over the place and I hope its not Wheeljack.
