I think he is the wildcard of any of the pre-existing Transformers to be in the movie. He has a 50/50 chance of showing up.

Maybe he figured the decepticons were gonna lose so he just bailed after seeing how bad Bonecrusher got owned by Optimus Prime.

In the novelisation, and, IIRC, the comic adaptation, he is killed by Optimus Prime while trying to jump him from behind.

True But because it's a novel it doesn't really count. If it appears on film then it's a part of continuity. I'd love to see him return in this movie with a more beefed up alt mode. I can Picture the GT500 done up as a police vehical:

No one wanted him dead so that wasnt filmed but it was in the script.
I dont mean it found its way on the cutting room floor due to time or regrets...
I mean it was NEVER filmed.

Having a counter part to Bee is crucial. Starstream doesnt cut it.

Also using $1,000,000 foreign cars and vehicles few can afford outside the Bill Gates of the world is a mistake.

No one identifies with Ferrari's. Also the heavy GM influence was a mistake.

I am a huge fan but only watched the second movie once (and didnt buy the DVD)
cause it sucked so bad. I hate to see Bay cave into the $$'s influence in making these

If this next one has a bunch of buck tooth cheap Chevy's and $200k vettes and million dollar Ferraris' people wont identify with it.

I understand Ford didnt want to be bad guys so they didnt sign on an Bay got Steve Saleen to help...but the bottom line is Barricade IS a Mustang. As such it plays right into the Chevy VS Ford rivalry that people love. An American STAPLE!!!

I cant begin to express how big the smiles are on kids who see Barry. But wait...Barry is BAD!!...?? Yes but they also see his cousins on the streets everyday. Its real!

Also use more muscle cars normal people have access to. Those two things
alone are key.

In looking at #2 Im glad Barricade wasnt in it cause I have yet to meet
anyone who liked that movie - and I meet allot of people driving Barry around.
