M.I.A.: Barricade
Barricade was a sweet machine in TF1. The character wasn't killed, it simply vanished without a lead on his fate. I'd love to see him back hunting Ladiesman217 again.
Any word yet on Barricade for TF3 or should I just assume that Bay and Saleen are done?

well Barricade was ment to be in ROTF but due to time constraints... his role had to be cut. If he does by some chance make in into 3, i can say he too will get some kind of an upgrade. His car modle will probably be updated to a 2010 modle and or he might get a new mode this time around. There has been a black Dodge Charger seen on set with D-con logos on it.

I figured bumblebee killed him in the first. We never see him again after that fight scene right?

no he shows up later on in the movie driving alongside bonecrusher on the highway right before bonecrusher transforms. its at this point he just vanishes without explanation. the comic books explain it by saying ironhide actually runs barricade into a pillar and he doesnt die in that instant but is returned to by Starscream after the events of the end of the first movie.

Ah thanks.
Maybe he will pull a Scorpinok and emerge from the sand dunes in a final scene :-x or he's just been a good hider, waiting for the right time to come out.

Not right, after that fight we can see him when all the decepticons are in the way to assist Megatron, then right close to Bonecrusher, as police car, and you can see the Decepticons logo on it, then Optimus kill Bonecrusher, but not Barricade again after that, he just vanished.

Having Barricade back in TF3 would be awesome! It's one of the D-con characters i really like. Frenzy was a good one too

In the movie adaptation Prime kills both Bonecrusher and Barricade in the highway, that 's why he takes some time to arrive in the city.

Dude needs some skill. I just set it to 480p and listen to it; love the dirty timbre. Barricade was a minor character and likely won't be back but one can hope...
