Did you see the BluRay Avatar, it's packaged with the HD & SD versions of the movie. Clever idea I think, + it saved me a lot of time not having to download a digital copy.

Yeah, my Avatar movie came with the BluRay + a separate SD (standard def) DVD. I play the SD version on my portable DVD player occasionally when I need to kill a couple of hours while sitting in my Kia Forte Koup SX while waiting for the wifey to clock out from work (she works for a hospital so anything can happen at any freaking second type of time frame). I thought it was a stupid idea at first but it turned out to be extremely convenient. I adopted this habit first with TF1 & now again with TF2, only difference is that I purchased both movies twice (BluRay for home & SD versions for the car). You know, I could have easily burned a digital copy to DVD for those movies, however my work schedule doesn't give me a lot of time to do that plus I like the quality better than a digital copy as well as watching the special features/extras that aren't readily available as we all know.

    It's saved my sanity...

My only problem with DVDs/BluRays having a digital copy is that you can only get it off the disc once... and only via iTunes...

The problem arises when, for example, both i and my brother want the copy off the Sherlock Holems BluRay... that can't happen. this sort of situation has lead me to downloading a copy of a movie i've bought, then converting it to the right format for my iPod (Now iPhone)... and the whole Digital copy idea was to stop people downloading movies (Was it not?)
