The Avengers Blu-ray Will Have 30-Minutes Of Deleted Scenes
I hope they make an extended cut not just separate deleted scenes.

Pentagon Bails On The Avengers Because The Plot Wasn't Realistic:lmaohttp://www.cinemablend.com/new/Penta...tic-30805.htmlWait, doesn’t the military regularly consult with Michael Bay on the Transformers films? So the idea of a Decepticon being buried on the moon is more plausible then the comic-inspired mayhem in Whedon’s film? Granted, I’m not saying either is plausible, but you can’t OK one and diss the other.
Saw it 3 times 2 in 2D and one in 3D and i gotta say, it's the most mind-blowing Superhero movie in recent memory besides Nolan's bat-flicks and Watchmen.
Ever wonder which hero had the most screen time in The Avengers?
Hawkeye: 12:44
Thor: 25:52
Bruce Banner/The Hulk: 28:03
Black Widow: 33:35
Iron Man: 37:01
Captain America: 37:42

Finally saw it, and yeah, it was frickin' Awesome! Joss Whedon's direction was spectacular, the jokes, the use of 3D, the story, the "team" elements, all spectacular.

I don't think I've ever seen a movie haul ass this quickly in the box office.
Yeah, already #32 all time... in a week. I'm happy, because it was a great movie, but I have to admit, I'm somewhat surprised. I was really worried that it would fall flat. The lead-up movies were great, too, but this one, I don't know, I was really fearing (well, that's a little strong, but whatever) that it might completly bust. Happy that it didn't, of course.

I also see this movie having another big weekend. (Not 207 million big, but still big). Almost everyone i know that has seen it, plans to see it again (including myself). The word of mouth with this thing has been unreal.
If you're not familiar with the Marvel Universe and have already seen the movie you should read this:

I'm seeinbg to movie again next week. The strange thing is that I'm going again with my wife.
I remember reading in an interview somewhere that Joss Whedon said a major challenge was to try and give the main characters equal emphasis/screentime, so there wouldn't be one or two overly dominant characters. I think he largely succeeded.
Overall, I thought it was great - I liked watching the various characters interact with each other, the humour, the action...
It's hard to pick a favourite scene, too - so many good 'moments' on-screen.
Thanks for posting that link, Albershide - I had no idea what the significance of that last scene was.
This movie was awesome. Enough said. And no, I dont think Transformers: Dark of the Moon should have been like this.
Oh, and the action was really great. Not quite as great as a Michael Bay action scene, but still very great.
And it has just joined the billion dollar club.
I hope it gets to 2 billion just so I can see that smug smile get wiped from James Cameron's faceOriginally Posted by Trailbreaker
Movie number 12 to reach the landmark!
It is the fastest film to reach 1 billion. All though if it wasnt for 3D, it would still be at around 700mil.
It is number 12, but it is now the 11th highest grossing, just beating The Dark Knight!
You tell her we're not her pets, and we're not her toys! We're an advance, genius alien race just looking for a home!
Round 3

The most impressive record so far for me: the best second weekend domestically ever ($103 million) which is 30 million better even than Avatar. Could Avengers really beat Avatar in the US? That would be extraordinary and I never expected it to happen so soon. I would love to see that too.![]()

Who thinks this movie is the Star Wars of comic based films?
