Default TF3: Scorponok's Asenscion (sounds better than rise of scorponok)

So, what if, either by himself, or maybe helped by Shockwave, Scorponok makes his way to the ruins of the star harvester, and using what ever little energy it was able to harvest, as well as its ruins for base materials, he rebuilds his body to become the huge city-sized decepticon we knew him to be? that would be a really cool way to bring in a new bigass robot with out all the issues that Unicron raised! And, maybe manipulated by shockwave, he turns on both autobots and D-cons. What do you think?

How about a title without a robot's name in it.

he got squished. nobody established that he died. death has been a relative factor in TF1 and TF2. and if you look at the comic books, it didnt take long to bring ravage back anyway, so... i dont see that being a problem

Still looking for a good answer to this: In Tf1, we could rebuild Bee's legs, and in Tf2 we ressurected OP, but no one can bring Jazz back to life????

(OK, its a rhetorical question, and I am aware that the answer has to do with story needs, but I just had to say it!)

to be fair they could just repair bee's legs and they had tot ravel half way around the world to revive optimus prime, who i might add, wasnt torn in half like jazz was

I don't want to derail this thread any more than it is but It seems to me in order to bring a Transformer back to life you need Energon (Ex: After Repairing Megatron the Decepticons used the Energon in the All Spark fragment to bring him back). So bringing Jazz back wouldn't be a problem except there's a serious lack of Energon. Maybe this is something that could be delt with in the third film.

Now CesarCardoso, Your Idea isn't a bad one except the harvester was never used. Oh it was activated and brought up to full power but Optimus Dammaged/destroyed it before it could Harvest anything from the sun.

it has been seen before in TF1 and TF2 that if something isn't written in stone then it can be adapted as needed. nobody said in ROTF that the Harvester never had a chance to harvest anything. BUT that does not mean that, if it helps the plot, they wont say in TF3 that in fact it did collect some energon. Its just like in TF2. Spielberg wanted a 2nd shard of the allspark and BOOM, there it is. in TF1 nothing made any hint as to the existance of 2 shards. get what im saying?

You have a point there, but didn't the harvester have to destroy a sun first before it could harvest the Energon? It's been a while since I've seen TF2 so I'm not sure.

It was never properly explained. I imagined it kinda like sucking the sun dry of energy until it was ultimately destroyed. The destruction being a byproduct of the harvesting process. If so, we can still have that energon as a plot key for some sort of ressurection. i said scorponok because it seemed to fit, given he was "destroyed" close to the pyramid and that his G1 character has alot of potential. G1 scorponok did lead the decepticons and was as big as trypticon, Metroplex and Fortess Maximus.
