No just a bad rumor. Not true at all. The same can be said for the Birds - we never considered that remake for Platinum Dunes.

Remembered Psycho Trailbreaker? the awful 1998 remake? that should prove you cannot improve on a masterpiece that still holds up timeless, if it wasn't broken don't try to screw with it.
Hmm. I remember reading a few interviews where the Birds was being considered, as Marcus Cambell was set to direct. I believe Brad Fuller confirmed this but it did not get going due to story issues. Shame that would have been neat.
