    I can't even begin to imagine how this will turn out. I remember the original movie had one of the most depressing endings of all time (SPOILERS: evil wins), but that's Roman Polanski for you.

    MitP, it's not real, Bay is not making this movie. He's busy enough with "Transformers 3" and "I Am Number Four".

    No just a bad rumor. Not true at all. The same can be said for the Birds - we never considered that remake for Platinum Dunes.

    Remembered Psycho Trailbreaker? the awful 1998 remake? that should prove you cannot improve on a masterpiece that still holds up timeless, if it wasn't broken don't try to screw with it.

    Hmm. I remember reading a few interviews where the Birds was being considered, as Marcus Cambell was set to direct. I believe Brad Fuller confirmed this but it did not get going due to story issues. Shame that would have been neat.

    Mr. Bay how about remaking Them!, Wicked City (1987 anime movie), Dr. Phibes, or maybe The Funhouse?
