Crashing on a friend's couch when traveling, as opposed to staying in a hotel. Couch surfing is when you do it at several friends' couches in series.

A sensible enough reason, I guess I could be guilty of the same thing if I were actually able to wear tattoos.

I'm afraid I would be a better person for the job PG, as I work in the transport industry, I know places that you don't see on tour maps, places that are both good and bad! But I'm not a selfish person in that regard, I would share the position with you, it's just that I've been living in Sydney longer than you have.

I have seen 2 wolves so far..but mainly yotes... I have a couple pictures of one running around the yard. A couple years ago..a couple streets away..someone shot a bear that went after his dog..then turned on him.. didnt know until later it was a female with cubs. Your right Megs..they yip..not howl like wolves. They are smart and persistant.. back home in PA I lost a few chickens to then..even while they were in the barn...here my neighbor used to have ducks and they got them too.

CB... yup.. a pack of coyotes can kill...especially if one or more is rabid..then they are very unpredictable..but they prefer smaller game..rabbits..turkeys etc.

That's the funny thing about Charlotte. There has been an increasing report of Wolves, Foxes, Bears, Coyotes, and Deer well within the city limits, even within 1 mile of Center City. Because the city is spreading out so far, continuing to annex, and the elimination surrounding forests, the wild animals have no place to go for food except within city limits where they feed on trash, and domestic animals. No reports of attacks on humans...yet. Kinda sad that there is no consideration for the habitats of wild animals.

We also have occasional mountain lion attacks here in Cali. With a couple of fatals on humans over the last several years. Mostly joggers on suburban running trails.

And although Cali has plenty of cyotoes (sp?), we have none on the island here, or skunks or poisonous snakes, either.

We used to see Coyotes on a daily basis when I was stationed at Vandenberg AFB. They used to search around the dorms for raccoons, but one shot in the air with a .38 took care of that.

I just spent too long trying to clean out my jump drive for my dad to borrow. I took over 100 files off of my stories and pictures that I saved from the last time my computer was attacked by a virus. It kept copying the files, so I had to delete everything twice. I go to give it to him...only to find out he bought a new one 10 minutes before. He said nothing to me about getting one of his own. Now I have to spend another hour putting everything back. I'm so fricking angry that I could go Optimus Prime on his face.
They call me Ratchet Girl for a reason. Sometimes Skids girl.
