    Default Scarface (1983).

Brian DePalma's awesome remake of the 1932 gangster classic is one of the best reimaginings of all time. I saw this movie when i was 16 in 1997 and it rocked thanks to viewing it from my dad's movie collection, it became one of my all time favorites.

It's one of my fave, too. A great movie. (Seems like you and me have some cinema-preference in common.)

But do you know that this one is a remake? it's based on the 1932 gangster movie about Al Capone, this one updates it without Capone and more about the rise of the 80's with the Cubans with drug smugglers.

Of course. When I saw this DePalma's take in 1984, it looked so modern. Besides, I prefer DePalma's films "before" The Untouchables.
