I dont think they would merge very well with the Transformer movies. The cartoon they were able to be quickly explained then have minor roles. But basing the final movie about another alien species and (hopefully) giving some of the more popular autobots & decepticons enough face time... it would probably feel like Spiderman 3, packing 3 or 4 villain stories in movie.

Nah, shouldn't be in the Bay movies. It wouldn't mesh well, they were made in this continuity by the Allspark, not another alien race as far as that goes, and it wouldn't get enough treatement in one film. Besides, the Bay movies don't need to be a rehash of G1.

their role would be there minor and woldn't make sense either. For a Unicron story, they would just be too cramed in.
