The Logo for TF3...how should it look?

So looking back at the two previous logos we had:

Transformers (2007), we had a weathered and scarred appearance, almost looked like it was either made of rock or some kind of metal.



Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, was still weathered but was much smoother and had this dark, solid feel to it, as if it were made of this really heavy, dense metal. And it's shiny! Plus, the tail ends of the T and F came down at an angle.



So with this in mind, what direction do you think they're going to go with TF3's logo and how it would transform onto the screen?

I think that since we had Grey for the first (scarred from battle), Black and Blue from the second (epic!) it should be Black and Red to give a sign for Unicron etc

I like Bot of Bad's idea. As the core look of the logo has already been established as an effective brand, I don't think there should be much done to veer away from what we've already seen. However, it'll be of paramount importance to animate the logo in a new way. In the age of PowerPoint, it's hard to do something that seems new... so this is easier said than done. However, even if the movie won't be displayed in 3-D, the letters should move in a manner that implies the theme of the third installment (i.e. if Unicron is part of the story, imply that the other Transformers are small in comparison, based on font size and movement).

Take the logo from part 1 and turn the letter "E" backwards so that it looks like a 3.

I probably doomed this concept (and tagline) to oblivion by posting it on here, but I couldn't resist.



I would laugh of somebody on the internet found this and decided to stir shit up by posting it on TFW2005 claiming it to be the "NEW TF3 LOGO OMFG CHECK IT OUT!!!"
