Default Transformers : Revenge Of the Fallen ( The tiny worldwide advertising by Paramount )

Avatar makes 2 billions plus why ?
    Absolutely for 3D.
Good but not outstanding story .
Cameron's name and last but not least VERY VERY STRONG ADVERTISING BY FOX or so !!

Why Paramount did this ridiculously tiny worldwide advertising for TF2 ? ?

Michael bay was right and was so upset with them ! he was so angry back then for that reason ! But Paramount won a lot of money now ! This time must made a strong TF3 advertising to the whole Europe like as domestically . Transformers absolutely need this and deserve it !!

It wasnt the story that pulled everyone in for the movie. It was the characters themselves that made people like the movie. Oh, also the visuals.

Avatar didn't have a story at all, and the wow factor started to get old and repeatitive. I was dragged to it a 2nd and 3rd time, and on the 3rd, I was falling asleep. And what does that tell you...

They had a lot of advertising for TF2...
    - Superbowl Add (A lot of TF music was playing this Superbowl as well)
    - 15+ ad videos
    - Giant Las Vegas billboards

Avatar just has a more general audience. Young, Old, Boys, Girls, Dorks, Environmentalists... etc... etc...

Because here's what I found out based on my school's population. The regular school kids actually liked or even loved ROTF, while the nerd/geek/fanboy population generally hated it and/or refused to see it.

Putting Avatar things aside, it's actually hard for general audiences outside the States to catch up the Superbowl ad and Las Vegas billboards. Particulaly the Super Bowl spot is basically ineffective in overseas for its cost. I agree with PSofosNextGen on the point that Paramount International must come up with more powerful advertising idea for TF3, e.g. something like the world premiere they did in Japan (it got a lot of TV coverage).

Hope there'll be very hot news about TF3 that can make huge headlines.

Huge TV coverage as well as in the mass media is the key !
