Default Jetfires status as a Decepticon

If you believe the information we get from the comic books, then Jetfire was never really a decepticon nor should he have the Decepticon logo.

Everything that happened during the Tales of the Fallen including Jetfire's desertion and eventual stay on earth after beating up the constructicons was before Megatron overthrew Optimus, selected the Fallen's face for the Decepticon symbol and began the civil war. That being true, there is no reason for Jetfire to have a decepticon logo nor to actually have met a decepticon because he was already stranded on Earth before they ever existed.

    What do you guys think?

Default Re: Jetfires status as a Decepticon

The movie's written from all the transformers stories. Example: Jetfires charactor was first introduced in a G1 episode as Skyfire who was a Decepticon that switched to an Autobot and was lost at the end of episode came back in later episode as Jetfire. (was one of the biggest noncombining toys) The Fallen was Introduced in a comic.
So there are going to be flaws in a story written off of a movie story that's written from many stories
