Transformers Of The future : The next chapter ( The Next trilogy ? )

It's been a while since Transformers , The 2 motion pictures and likely the 3rd directed by Michael Bay ( The master of action ) re - introduced themselves around the world with the first and second G1 series cartoon seasons ! What about a second trilogy with the Transformers of the Future by the year 2010 based on third and fourth cartoon seasons ? A second trilogy which will introduced the future G1 Transformers like Ultra Magnus , Rodimus Prime , Unicron , Galvatron , Quintessons and the stuff ? A logical step for the Transformers movie franchise directed always by Michael Bay !

I think a second trilogy should happen... with Sam and Mikaela older and their son becoming the main character for the movie... maybe it should be set like in the year 2027 or so...

Yes i agree they should continue for future series i don't think anyone would really oppose to that i mean we all LOVE transformers

I think they should break away from the old, and head off in a new direction. We have days upon days of G1 material and it's been fleshed out as much as it needs to be. Time to move ahead and stop living in the past.

No. It was because it was so well done. While GI Joe did make a profit, it couldn't touch the first TF movie, because it was a smoldering pile of doggie doo.

By any means without TF G1 ( The strongestr base ) there wasnt any of the movies at all i suppose !!))

well .. I have mixed feelings on this one ... I say do it as a two part trilogy ... do something now and then change it up again a few yrs later ... make another three down the road but with a new plot and a new twist with a new villain maybe a villain from with as in a fallen autobot from the past bent on bringing havoc t everything because of a skeleton in some auotbot heroes closet type thing ... bring the whole thing crashing down and have to start over and explore more totally new ideas .. but only after TF3 and give it a couple yrs and then start the next trilogy ... thats my opinion

People in general wont like a "kill off all old characters and bring in a new crowd".

Maybe a prequel movie would be a good idea. Start the movie before the war begins, introduce all these new characters, and towards the end of the movie begin to introduce "orion pax". In the second movie Orion Pax can become Optimus, and start to find some of his original team (not all) (Bumblebee, Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet), and of some other original transformers from the first that survived to keep it new. In the third, find more members of his original group, some of the survivors, and end it with the cube being jettisoned into space, megatron shortly following, the nemesis launching, and the autobots in pursuit... this thing practically writes itself :P

Well i'm hoping maybe if michael can't continue with the franchise maybe some other director might continue the movie series i mean 3 movies isn't enough for something like transformers especially as it has a huge fan basis like star wars or star trek i mean they r producing (rebooting) spider man again & it hasn't even been that long since the 3rd one was done.

^ True... but I'd think they'll want to take it in a new direction, not repeat G1, and the easiest way to do that sometimes will be a series perhaps- depending on where they want to go with it. I don't know if fans will have the patience for a string of 10 movies with 2 years in between...

It's too early for a TF reboot, and Spiderman was an exceptional circumstance from what I hear. Star Trek has been around even longer than Transformers... and has a massive fan base too.

Yes i agree aswell though the only problem the character's well i should say the actor's that potray the character will b diff then as like spider man. even the robots could b different i just hope michael bay realises that as fans of such an epic film with a long long history it has he will continue to make the 4th film and so on.

Ps: I hate waiting 2 yrs in between films lol :/

Transformers are having a whole universe , bigger and more awesome than Star Trek And Star Trek has a lot of movies to watch for !!! Transformers are better and must have more movies than 3 !!! thought !!))
