Elita-1 was always part of the movieverse CUZ THE REAL elita-1 appeared i nthe tf comic preuqels defiance (takes palces before the first film) and Reing of stasrcream (tkaes palce after tf1 and before rotf) and the actualt eltia-1 died, Then i tnales of teh fallen 6, THunedercrakers Kileld Arcee and sued her psark For the Arcee tripelts, Chromia, the enw elita-1 (not the same elita) and the new arcee body since they wanted her to be part of hte decpeticosn army, but failed, so thats measn thsi eltia-1 is nto the actual one and the real oen died

hasbro jsut wanted to use the name eltia-1 forr the toy not the character, same goes for chromia

Yeah, I am still going with that the blue and purple bots are just extensions of Arcee and don't have a will of their own.

I think Hasbro gave them names if only to make the toy and not get kids confused.

Gees eagc7 I didn't know the back story as I haven't read the comics nor do I care. Settle down a little dude take a chill pill. I like Elita-1 and the fact she is now my fav colour made my day. Will have to go hunting for the figurine now. I have the Target exclusive Elita from the 2007 movie, the BBTS exclusive bust (which I got cheap) and I plan to collect anything else with her.
