TF4 should be animated prequel.
TF4 the cybetron wars an animation that will look like the nemesis scene in tf2 and will be the storie of the fall of cybetron. michael bay can produce the film during production of pain & gain and bad boys 3. If they make such a film it should keep me going untill bay's ready for another tf live action film (TF5) with hopefully sam, mikaella, simmons, duhamel, tyrese, the parents and hom ever is new in tf3 returning.

it should also open new options for further films and show why movie 1 2 & 3 hapend. not forgeting that all transfomers will be in original skin not disguises like whene they arive on earth in tf1.

I have long supported the idea of animated films in roughly the same universes designed solely for younger viewers.
Not that I think that animation is for children, only, of course. But the very small children who buy the toys (and really can't handle sitting still for two hours in a darkened movie theatre) should have stories of their own.

They could add this to a special dvd( The Animatrix) like what was done for The Matrix. We kind of see how the machines came into power, but it doesn't have to be an feature film.

Release an animated prequel exploring plot points from 1 and 2? Sure why not!
Release it as Transformers 4, no way, not if you want my money.

definitely agree... with a few different studios and directors offering their take on the TF universe in different stories. would be awesome
