True Lies on DVD: Such an amazing action movie that never fails to entertain me, i loved it since i was 13 when it came out in theaters and always been a Cameron fanatic.

The Evil Dead on Blu-Ray: Looks sharp and beautiful on high definition! this is a masterpiece of horror as well as the sequels.

Batman Under the Red Hood on Blu-Ray: NOW THIS is a kickass animated movie based on Batman, the best since Mask of the Phantasm. If you like comic book movies and Batman, please rent this baby or own it.

    Come on, where's the sequel...

    The Nest

Average "Corman Factory" flick. During it's first hour is just an standard Jaws ripoff with nothing different to the huge amount of jaws ripoffs made in the 80s.

But everything changes in the last 25 minutes, when the "horrifying" cockroaches take over the town. There we have which is maybe the most awesomely retarded death I've ever seen, an insane plot twists (even insane for a movie about killer cockroaches) and some funny auto-parody sequences.

Oooh The Nest is a guilty pleasure of mine, i like Corman's stuff.

Short Circuit on Blu-Ray: Looks great and sounds terrific too! i grew up with this movie, seeing it at 5 years old in the theater with it's sequel as well. Gotta love Number-5, the best robot this side of R-2D2 and Wall-E.

The Hurt Locker on Blu-Ray: Now this is what i call a great epic from Kathryn Bigelow (Former Cameron wife) even though i wanted Avatar to win best picture, this is still solid stuff.

Evil Dead 2 on Blu-Ray: Brilliant transfer on High Def for a brilliant movie that i adored since i was 15 that is even better than the first one.

    Resident Evil: Afterlife

Hi, my name is Paul WS Anderson. I love 3D and I recently discovered a thing called slow motion, It's awesome! I also like girls to walk and fight under the rain, but I don't like Kacey Barnfield, because she is so hot that can distract the audience from my wife.

I also didn't like very much the third part of the saga, and I think the superpowers idea wasn't so great as I imagined before. So at the beginning of the movie I had to clean all the mess that my friend Russell left behind. It was a really hard work! I ended up so tired that I wasn't able to think about a plot, so at the end I didn't write one.

But don't worry, my action is AWESOME, everything in 3D with slow motion! It's unbelievable!

Well, I hope you enjoy my movie, and if you see my wife tell her that I love her and that she is the hottest woman ever!

Rating: I don't know what to say... at the end is quite entertining and quite funny. Also it has some really powerful sequences. But nothing makes any sense.

Best part of the movie is the credits scene. At least if you are a man.

Grizzly Park. It seems the only movies I end up really liking anymore are low budget ones. This movie was not really scary, but it was downright hilarious (especially with anything related to dismemberment). And the ending...my boss was in the walk-in and heard me LMAO when the ending happened. Oh man. Def need to buy this one. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but the only other low budget movies I've really like are Bruce Campbell movies, so other fans of his might like this one

Thanks, it's Johnny Five thank you very much.

The Thing on Blu-Ray: I own both the DVD (Which was one of the first DVDs i bought after graduation of high school) and bought the Blu-Ray last week since it was for 12 bucks at one of the local Hastings movie stores here. Looks sharp and like new in high-def, a must watch for Sci-fi and horror buffs there as it's the greatest remake of all time.

If you ever wanted to know what the Matrix would look like in 3D, go see Resident Evil. Probably the most blatant attempt at copying the Matrix action scenes I've ever seen.

Well The Matrix is awesome stuff and i bet you think it's original? well it is inspired by various stuff of the past like Blade Runner, Ghost in The Shell, William Gibson novels, Philip K. Dick's work, 2001, Metropolis, Star Trek, Star Wars and that sort of thing. I'd say the action sequences are worthy of being the american version of John Woo's Hong Kong stuff like Hard Boiled and The Killer.

I saw RE Afterlife in 3D and that was fun, i enjoy the series as a guilty pleasure. But they are bad adaptations of an awesome video game series.

Oooh Fifth Element is awesome, who thinks it's the Avatar of the late 90's? in terms of an epic Sci-fi/fantasy combo.

The Crow on DVD: Such an amazing movie that i loved since i was 13 years old seeing it in theaters, i read the graphic novels afterward and those were cool too.

Ghost on Blu-Ray: What a damn good, sad and funny movie this was! I cried near the end when i was 9 years old seeing it with my mother, one of my favorites.

That's funny, i saw Se7en on Blu-Ray. An incredible work of genius and pure originality, i saw it during it's theatrical release years ago when i was 14. It shocked me unlike any mainstream movie before but i knew i loved it.

The Dark Crystal on Blu-Ray: One of my favorite movies since i was a kid, it's a true timeless masterpiece with a brilliant score and darkness abound including originality. It looks amazing and lifelike on BD with great extras too and i own the soundtrack to it as well.

I saw Armageddon in theaters as a teenager and it made me cry, Armageddon Director's Cut back in 2000 after my high school graduation was a pleasure when i got my first DVD Player including a Playstation 2 for my 19th birthday. I own the theatrical now now on high-def Blu-Ray.

Pink Floyd The Wall on DVD: Such a masterful musical animated/live-action adult drama about a rock singer who's pain as a kid growing up in WWII effected him and how he turns into a raging psycho. Brilliant animation and a fantastic soundtrack, i adored this movie since the mid-90's when i was 14 since i was a PF fan since 12.

The Running Man on Blu-Ray: One of my teenhood favorites that looks and sounds great on Blu-Ray.

Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland: I saw this when i was 11 back in 92 because when i was 9 i had the video game, i thought this movie was based on the video game until later soon i found out that this came out in Japan in 1989 as the game came to the US in 1990. This is one of my favorite Japanese animated movie for years because it's brilliant animation, cool characterizations and stunning visuals that matches a Ghibli production, Mickey Rooney was funny as Flip the Clown. One of my childhood tastes into anime besides Unico, Jack and The Beanstalk and Vampire Hunter D.

Air France, thanks for reminding me of that movie.

Persopolis: A brilliant adaptation of a graphic novel, this adult animated movie from France/Kuwait is faithful to the graphic novel and if you like animation see this.

Forbidden Planet on Blu-Ray: Now this is a fucking spectacular Sci-fi masterpiece that is timeless and true, very important Sci-fi movie that looks and sounds great on Blu-Ray. Loved it since i was a kid.

    I also watched:

My Neighbor Totoro on DVD: One of my faves since i saw it on HBO in the mid-90's at age 13, Hayao Miyazaki proves he's a genius of filmmaking on this one.

Monty Python and the Meaning of Life: The trilogy of Monty Python went out with a bang on this one, i always loved the MP trilogy since teenhood in the 90's.

OK, Since when did Python do a "trilogy?" Just because its 3 movies, does NOT make it a trilogy! Transformers is not a trilogy either! A trilogy is a 3-part story! There is a continuity. NOT just a convienent amount! Lord of the Rings was a trilogy!
